I visited the Santon Johannesburg shop today and had one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. The sales consultant who assisted me was absolutely rude and seemed completely untrained. I explained my foot condition and asked for guidance. Instead of engaging with me or asking any follow-up questions, she simply pointed at two pairs of shoes — no explanation, no effort, and not even asking if I’d like to try them on. While I was still speaking and asking for advice, she turned her back on me, walked away, and started assisting another person, flat-out ignoring me. A while later she could see I am still in the shop, but rather chose to "chat" with her fellow colleagues. That was a major red flag. I chose not to purchase anything because I refuse to spend money where customers are treated this poorly. I’ll rather support a store where staff take pride in their work and genuinely go out of their way to help customers. Very disappointing experience. Not recommended at all.
Thus far, I've only received good service from OnePlan pet insurance. Sometimes we struggle to submit documents or photos via the App, but the consultants always assist us promptly on WhatsApp. Thank you Athi for loading our claims.
