I disclosed the non-biological relationship upfront, and their agent approved the policy. After my "parent" passed, they declined the claim due to no blood relation. The representative's tone was unacceptable - no apology, no empathy. Details: - Policy for someone like a mom to me - Disclosed non-biological relationship upfront - Agent approved policy - Declined claim after death - Poor customer service 1/10 - Would not recommend Capitec for funeral policies.0 replies
