I purchased an item and the package arrived empty - item probably ****** during packaging. I returned it and asked for an exchange. Once again the package arrived empty. This company has thieving employees and are covering for them with fancy excuses an blaming me for the problem.
Covid 19 has been with us for a year now and i have been visiting the Centurion branch 3 times a week since sit-in service has been allowed. One serious issue has been on my mind since and i decided to bite my tongue and let it run it's course. Well, i can no longer keep silent - Mandla, the manager decides when and where he will wear his mask. He walks inside and outside without it, allows his staff to do same as well as having them decide whether to cover their noses or not, even though they could be asymptomatic. This has been going on for much too long and has to be stopped - because of selfishness like this the virus will never be stopped.
My wife and i decided on a change of scenery and drove out to this well known shopping mall. Overall the mall is kleen and the passages are nice and wide, creating a feeling of relaxed shopping. The variety of shops cater for all choices in life. Also, no matter whether you enter from the east or the west, there are enough quality eateries to satisfy your tastebuds. One pity however, is the fact that complacecy has caused many patrons to walk without face masks - a definate no-no in these times.
After getting no response and ignorance from the management, i decided today to dare venture into this mall again. I mean, i have complained a few times so they would have attended to the COVID 19 safety guideline issues? No, no such luck! So, i ventured down one hallway and decided to take pictures of everybody not wearing a mask of sorts. Well, i stopped about 40 meters into my journey because there were just too many people i had to take pictures of and NO security in sight. I think i now have enough pictures to open a case of reckless endangerment at the nearest Police station seeing that nobody cares about the possibility of a "second wave" of lockdown.
I withdraw my previous rating of good experience. The service has, within a couple of months, gone from excellent to downright bad. Unfortunately it has all to do with the manager.
Good food is worth nothing if, in these times of COVID19, you go into a restaurant where the Owner and half the staff walk around without a mask. Then, when you address the issue, the staff has an attitude.
If you value your safety during Covid19, then make sure you mask up or avoid the mall all together. Not a day goes by whereby i encounter at least 5 "suspects" walking around without masks. Also, cleaners mopping floors and not putting out warning signs as well as below par mens bathrooms. The mall management knows this, yet are ignorant of this fact - such a pity to think of what a nice mall it was in it's heyday and now this...
Just when you think you have given a compliment, you get disappointed... This morning i paid my usual visit to Centurion branch just to experience utmost disrespect towards all customers by multiple staff NOT wearing face masks. One of the kitchen staff even came late and entered the restaurant without a mask, meaning she strolled the mall without one. This is NOT acceptable during these sensitive times.
Purchased a Bosch vacuum cleaner a few months ago. Only reason was because of brand name and 10 year motor guarantee. From day one the floor nozzle has been making the most annoying screeching sounds. Also the filter needs replacing. Nobody in Pretoria kkeps parts on Bosch. Contacted their HO in Midrand to enquire about poor/cheap plasics and parts availability - phones just ring endlessly and no response to emails. Pathetic service for a so-called reputable brand!
I sit down with waiters and managers staring at me - nobody serves me. Then after a while a guy goes and finds a waiter who then puts a menu in front of me and walks away. Later, after becoming niticably uncomfortable, a manager from inside the kitchen comes to appologise. In all this time nobody has taken an order.<br> Now, after being faithfull to this branch from the day they first opened, i have realised that there actually IS an alternative and i will from now on support them.<br> Thank you M&B for opening my eyes and good bye.
