Slow online order experience
I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Old Khaki. I placed an order at the Ermelo store on 26 April 2026, but it was only confirmed on 29 April. To make matters worse, I only received notification on 4 May that the package had finally been handed over for shipping. This level of delay is unacceptable and far below the standard set by other retailers. The lack of efficiency and slow processing times make the entire experience frustrating. Based on this experience, their service is absolutely pathetic compared to other shops.

Great Pants, But No Length Choices is a Big Miss
I’ve always rated First Ascent highly when it comes to quality, their pants are durable, well-made, and clearly designed for performance. However, one major drawback is that they don’t offer different length options. When I buy from Adidas, I can choose the correct length upfront, which makes a big difference. With First Ascent, you already pay a premium price for the product, and then still need to spend an additional ±R200 or more to have the length adjusted elsewhere. That’s frustrating. What made the experience worse for me is that I specifically requested assistance to adjust the length when I recently purchased two pairs of pants. The request was not handled before shipping, and only afterward I was told I could send them back for assessment. For me, that’s not acceptable. At this price point, I would expect better service and more practical sizing options. Great product quality, but the overall customer experience needs improvement.

Concern Regarding Above-Inflation Annual Fee Increases from Flexi Club
I have a concern regarding the recent increase in my annual Flexi Club membership fee. My yearly fee has increased from R15 363.70 to R16 485.70, reflecting an increase of approximately 7.3%. Given that South Africa’s current inflation rate is around 3.4% (Stats SA, September 2025), this adjustment is more than double the prevailing inflation rate. I find this excessive and would like to understand the justification for such a steep increase. I have requested Flexi Club to clarify: On what basis are these annual increases determined? Does the membership agreement specify that annual fees may rise by this percentage? I would appreciate a clear explanation and supporting reference to the relevant clause in the contract. I have not received answer back.
