I travel with the bus from Sandton to Randburg (Route S4) daily for work. I’m not opposed to waiting for the bus, but it appears that busses are only arriving every 20 minutes, rather than every 10. This morning I waiting 25 minutes for a bus which is supposed to leave the station every 10 minutes (and I’m at the first stop after the station). Something I have noticed is unnecessarily long stagnancy periods halfway through the route. After work I get on the bus at Brigh****er Commons stop. On yesterday’s trip, we arrived at thw midpoint point of the route (Damelin) at 15:59 which is the time the bus is supposed to be leave that stop. Instead of leaving immediately, the bus stood stagnant for another 10 minutes to leave at 16:09. The service claims to do their best to be on time but perhaps a large reason for their schedule deviations are due to these unnecessary delays at the midpoint of the route.
I placed an order last night and made the payment, bur right after making payment the website appeared to crash. The website didnt work for the rest of the night. The following morning when the website was working again I saw that my order was unsuccessful due to the crash. However my bank had already reserved the amount on their side. My bank told me that they are unable to reverse the amount and I would have to wait 7-14 days for the authorisation to lapse if iStore doesnt debit the amount. I called iStore call centre twice. On the first call the call got cut while I was waiting for the agent to look up my order info. On the second call the agent told me they couldnt help me as I they couldn't uncancel my order. I now have no wait 7-14 days to get my money back and to be able to make my purchase due to a website crash which was not my fault. This was my first time trying to buy from iStore. This really ruined my enitre experience.
I tried making a purchase from iStore's website last night. Right after making the secure payment and the amount was reserved from my bank account, the website crashed. Once the website was working again I saw that my order was unsuccessful on iStore. However FNB did not reverse the reserved amount on their side. After having to contact FNB using their Secure Chat feature on the app, I was told by an agent that they could not do anything to help me and I would have to wait 7-14 days to get my back if iStore didnt debit the amount. The agent then also dismissed me as I tried to further discuss the issue. I now have to wait 7-14 days before I can make my purchase which actually an urgent purchase for me.
