I have not participated in the Platinum Life campaign for 2 years now, I still have people who have been previously shared as possible leads being contacted for policies. I have proof of an sms sent stating that I have referred people for a gift which is clearly not the case. Another friend informed me of the same thing. I have emailed my concern around this yesterday, there has been no response yet.
I went to the Clicks Pharmacy in Cobble walk, Durbanville, Cape Town today, 19 October 2021. I was waiting in the self service queue for an OTC product (Allecet), I was waiting there for a considerable time but waited nevertheless. Eventually the Pharmacist that was assisting the prescription queue came over to assist me, I proceeded to give her my request for the required product while she was assisting me with the order I asked her to give me a nasal spray as well, at which she point she correctly pointed out that this was a prescription drug and that next time I must please queue at the prescription counter. I was taken aback as now I was gently being reprimanded for standing in the wrong queue, when I questioned why there was nobody servicing the self service queue I was told to rather go queue at the prescription counter as she was now trying to service the self service queue and that I was holding the queue up. When I approached the manager at the pharmacy she was very defensive, explaining that they are only 3 people on duty and that she was busy making cream for another customer hence the long queue. I told her that I was not happy about the fact that the lady in question was happy to assist me until I questioned her as to why both queue were managed so poorly, at which point I was told to wait in the other queue and that she can no longer help me. Was I being reprimanded for asking? I asked the manager to explain to me why I should wait in another queue only to be assisted by the same person just at a different counter?She did apologize saying that she is “ so sorry that I had a bad experience “ which didn’t really seem sincere but made it very clear that only people at the prescription counter can ask for products that are self service but not the other way around. I asked her where exactly that is specified i.e is there an information board up somewhere, she proceeded to show me the “big sign up on the top showing Self service and Prescription” , also that this is common knowledge at all pharmacies. It was at this point that I knew that this was a futile exercise. I have never gone to a day hospital and can only imagine that this is how people are treated there, the difference is that this is not a day hospital and I am paying for these goods. All I expected from them was to be given some consideration especially since my initial interest was the OTC product and not the Prescription which I only remembered when I was being assisted bearing in mind that people are not at their best frame of mind when going to a pharmacy, I will never go to that pharmacy again, there are plenty other pharmacies in the area that don’t treat their customers like naughty children.

To date he has not pitched to complete the job, he has assured us that the gate is ready for installation 3 month ago already and promises to come do the installation but never comes. We have informed our lawyers to proceed with legal action, at this point he is unavailable.
We have been struggling to process my recently deceased Mothers estate since September last year, thanks to the incompetence of the deceased estate department we are still being asked for information that was already shared in the 1st month since my Moms passing. The executor of the estate was in quarantine due to COVID since Mid December and only returned to work since the last week in January. My Mothers vehicle which we have been trying to sell to WeBuyCars since December last year is still in our possession nearly 2 months later even though the company has submitted an Offer to purchase 3-4 months already, the first hold up was the fact that the executor was away from work for nearly 1.5 months, now the hold up is the registration documents which we clearly stated we do not have 3 months ago. Today I followed up on a query sent yesterday regarding the documentation and process to follow when selling a vehicle currently part of the estate, to my horror the executor only passed it on to her assistant today and no apology provided. It seems like staff is incentivized to delay the process so as to maximize earnings through interest. Complaints have been lodged however there is nobody (management absent and silent) being allocated to take charge of the issue at hand.
Last week I was diagnosed with Rhinositis and received medication to treat it. This week Wednesday I was diagnosed with Prostatitus which to my understanding is not a minor condition if you consider the treatment required to ensure that my health is optimally managed. I was told to provide a blood sample that would be sent through to the lab that same day which is obviously a lot more costly. Thursday morning my wife calls the facility to get the results as I have not received any word yet, I get a call from the medical receptionist Elise Strydom who informs me that nothing came up w.r.t the blood test and that I should finish the medication as prescribed be the Doctor. While doing research on this condition I actually realized how little information was shared with me regarding this condition and as result I have decided to see a specialist (which should have been a recommendation), a specialist would require my blood results hence me requesting for the blood analysis to be emailed to me. Today I requested the results only to be informed by the medical receptionist Elise Strydom that she already called me yesterday to tell me that the “results are all well - and that Doctor mentioned you must just go on and complete your medication”, really? When I challenged her on her response her reply was, “I just though I forgot to contact you but then realize that I did call you or that you sent email before I spoke to you on the phone.” I would like to express both my concern and disappointment in the level of service received and will definately not be going back there again. There is clearly a difference in how patients are engaged in the Parow facility compared to the Tygervalley facility? What is even more concerning is the fact that they are just refusing to email me the results, results I paid for at a premium as the blood tests was considered urgent and the outcome thereof had to be available that same day (Wednesday), today is Friday. Am I not entitled to my own results?
