DISAPPOINTING SERVICE: Makro holding my money and gift hostage – Order OD437443556195319100 I am extremely disappointed with Makro Online. I placed an order for a Airfryer that was supposed to be a gift for a church challenge this coming Saturday. The delivery was promised for the 7th of May, but today is the 12th of May and I have received zero updates.The order status has been stuck on "Ready to Ship" since May 4th. I went to a physical Makro store today to get help because I am leaving to Eastern Cape tomorrow and NEED this item. The store refused to help, stating it is an "Online Only" item, and told me they can only request a refund which takes 7–14 days.I do not have the funds to go and buy a second Airfryer while Makro sits on my money due to their own failure to deliver. Makro has essentially ruined a planned gift for this weekend. It would have been better if they provided an immediate refund/store credit so I can purchase an alternative in-store today. Or atleast confirm exactly where my parcel is so I can collect it from the depot myself. Store Visited: Makro in Johannesburg Crown Mines. Buy their online products at your own risk.
I booked City to City last year and Prasa said they will give me a voucher to use to substitute the bus issue I had that lasted 3months. Did I ever recieve that voucher?, No. When I called to get it I never received it and 3months passed by. My communication was with Mmaletsake, Mpho and Billy was even CC'd on those emails. Use their services at your own risk.
This company deserves more than five stars. The customer service is phenomenal-they are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
