Very poor all around

1-Star Review: Absolutely shocking experience with [Shop Name] – will never order from here again and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear! Called to place a simple takeaway order for fish and chips, and from the start it was a disaster. They completely messed up the order – wrong items delivered, missing sides we paid for, and portions that were tiny compared to what we expected. The food itself was poor quality: the fish was greasy and tasteless (looked like it had been sitting around for ages), chips were soggy and undercooked, and everything arrived lukewarm at best. To top it off, they massively overcharged us – the bill was way higher than what was quoted on the phone, and when I questioned it, the staff were rude and unprofessional. Zero apology, just attitude and defensiveness like it was our fault for pointing it out. Felt like we were being taken for a ride. Wasted money, wasted time, and a thoroughly disappointing meal. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else – there are plenty of better fish and chip spots around. 0/10, never supporting this place again.

Rude staff

To whom it may concern, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received when contacting your hospital. I called the number listed on Google, and the person who answered was extremely rude and unprofessional. Their attitude made it very difficult to ask a simple question, and I felt completely dismissed. After that, I contacted the pharmacy hoping for better assistance, but unfortunately the staff member I spoke to was also rude and unhelpful. The tone and manner in which I was spoken to were unnecessary and unacceptable, especially coming from a healthcare facility where professionalism and courtesy should be a priority. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and hope that this matter will be addressed so that future patients and callers are treated with the respect they deserve

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the current promotional card giveaway offered at your store. On my recent shopping trip, I spent over R500 specifically to qualify for the promotion and was given six packs of promotional cards at checkout. However, upon opening these packs, I discovered that all six contained the same three cards. This defeats the purpose of a collectible promotion and leaves customers with no variety or incentive to participate further. It is frustrating to spend a considerable amount of money only to receive identical items that hold no additional value. I kindly request that this matter be reviewed, as customers expect fairness and reasonable distribution when taking part in such promotions. It would be appreciated if you could provide replacement packs or offer a solution to ensure a more diverse selection, in line with the spirit of the promotion. Thank you for your attention. Cold old food

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the ongoing issues I’ve experienced at your The Grove location. On multiple occasions, I’ve been served food that is not only cold but also appears old and stale—far below the standards expected from an established brand like Burger King. The quality of the meals served at this location has been consistently poor. Burgers have arrived lukewarm, fries are often soggy and clearly not fresh, and even the buns and patties seem like they’ve been sitting out for far too long. It’s extremely frustrating to pay for a hot, fresh meal and receive something that feels reheated or leftover. This is not a one-time occurrence—it has become a pattern, which suggests a lack of attention to food preparation and quality control at this specific branch. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects poorly on the Burger King brand as a whole. I would appreciate a response and reassurance that steps will be taken to address this issue and improve the standards at The Grove location.
