I keep receiving spam calls from this company and believe that they may be spying on my internet activity going against the POPI act
I attended clientele today and was assisted by Kagiso Mabena she was very helpful with my concerns and my requests were met accordingly. I look forward to the response regarding my case and will definitely be using their services again.
Vumatel, Cell C and Tracey Cosmetics Organised Crime Affiliation My internet was recently set up and was told by Vumatel representative to dial 084 145 to receive help from Cell C fibre. When dialling this number, given to me by the Vumatel representative, It sent me directly to another company, which claimed to be Cell C but instead was Tracey Cosmetics, whom I gave my details to, not knowing that it was them. I then experienced internet for a day after which my system crashed and graphics card was compromised. I am surprised that Cell C is doing nothing about this and why the company Tracey Cosmetics continues to exist since it is using a Cell C line in which to contact customers. I am also shocked that Vumatel would refer me to Cell Cs 084 145, which actually seems to be Tracey Cosmetics. This seems to be a crime happening in broad daylight and the authorities including Cell C and Vumatel seem to do nothing about it and rather direct the fault at the customer.

I am terribly unhappy with the Cell C service and am now coming to believe that there is a wide range of cellular networks that are targeting and working against certain individual citizens within the country. It is not just Cell C alone but it includes a broader network of companies in the communications sector. Whose sole aim is to keep me disconnected and monitor everything that I am doing online. My current situation is that for the past 5 years I have switched my routers, changed sim cards and after at least 30 days I am disconnected even though I am connected. I am currently with Cell C but this has occured when I was with MTN, VODACOM, TELKOM and know that the cellular networks because they have my ID number are able to track me irrespective of service provider change. I do not know why the cellular companies are doing this to me but do have my suspicions. I am experiencing this issue with Cell C but it may be even as broad as ICASA which may be a human rights issue because whatever is being done goes against the POPI act.
I am highly disappointed at Bonitas as a medical aid fund. On several occasions I have been back and forth with them concerning my request to downgrade my plan due to circumstances of affordability. They refuse to do so and base this upon a window period in addition to this they ask for my banking details which is quite a personal matter in order to see whether I qualify for a downgrade. Where in the history of South Africa is it required for a customer to be forcefully made to pay a monthly premium based upon his/her monthly expenditure. If a customer says that they cannot afford to pay a monthly premium anymore then they cannot afford irrespective of how they choose to spend during the month, it is not up to the medical aid to decide this fact but the customer. In addition to this I requested to change my plan 1 month prior and they chose to stall on this and did not downgrade I now ask for a refund and am being told that there is no money allocated for this. So in actual fact they are taking my money and expecting me to continue paying them money that is unaffordable for me. I remember there was a time when you could go to a company state your case and the customer would be listened to. These days the companies have become so rich that they are willing to exploit their members because they feel that they are above the law. It may not be so but that is currently how I am feeling after 2 months of making my requests.
