On 8 May 2026 I made an OZOW Instant EFT payment of R200 to EasyBet. The payment showed as cancelled/error on OZOW's system but the money was debited from my Nedbank account and confirmed by four separate Nedbank agents as never reversed. OZOW Support (Fadwah Appels) located both transactions and escalated to their Finance team. On 26 May 2026 OZOW's Finance team confirmed in writing that the funds have been received. They requested a bank confirmation letter to process the refund. I submitted it the same day. It is now 27 May 2026, 19 days later and no refund has been processed. OZOW knows they have my money. All documents have been submitted. Still nothing. Formal complaints have been filed with the FSCA and National Consumer Commission. I want my R200 back.
I made an OZOW Instant EFT deposit of R200 to my EasyBet account on 8 May 2026. The money left my Nedbank account (confirmed by 4 separate Nedbank agents) but was never credited to my EasyBet account and never refunded. EasyBet reference: CS-1709563. I have contacted EasyBet support over 15 times across live chat and email. Every response is the same generic template — different agent name, same words. Their own T&Cs Clause 22.3 required resolution within 7 business days. That deadline expired on 19 May 2026. OZOW located the transactions and escalated to their Finance team. EasyBet's FICA team just sent me the same auto-response asking for proof of payment — for the 5th time. A formal complaint is now lodged with the Eastern Cape Gambling Board. I want my R200 back.
