I am extremely disappointed with the service I received regarding an apartment in Sunninghill, Sandton. I was asked to pay R950 to secure the apartment, but shortly afterwards I found another apartment that was much closer to my workplace and informed them immediately. I was then assured that I would receive a refund. However, it has now been almost two months and I still have not received my money. Every time I follow up, I am given excuses such as “the person dealing with your refund is on leave.” This level of service is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Customers should not have to continuously chase after their own money while being given endless excuses.
am absolutely disgusted with the service from VASCO Connect. I have been calling for over an hour each day for two consecutive days with no response. Emails are ignored, and the WhatsApp chat is also not responding at all. I have been trying to cancel my online contract so that I can apply for another device, but there has been no feedback, no assistance, and no update on my request. This level of service is unacceptable. Kindly attend to my cancellation request immediately and confirm once it has been processed.
My experience with Makro’s return process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I logged a return on 11 March 2025, and only 17 days later, on 28 March, I received an email stating that my return request had been approved and that collection would take place within 2–4 days. However, five days later, on 2 April, I received another email saying that my return had been rejected. I tried calling the number provided in the email, but it didn’t go through. The person who answered said it was the wrong number. I then called the Makro customer service number more than five times, and each time I was given different excuses—courier backlogs, system failures—but no clear solutions or follow-ups. It’s now been over a month, and I still have no resolution. The poor communication, lack of empathy, and overall inefficiency have left me feeling deeply frustrated and hurt.
