To say lazy does not cover it! I have been getting SMS's EVERYDAY for the last week that states the following: "Good news! Enjoy a 1GB FREE bonus data gift from Mr Price Mobile, valid 30 days! Dial *140# T&Cs apply" So before I sent an email, I dialed this *140# and blocked everything that can be blocked. But still I get these SMS's. So go to the next step... I emailed Mr Price Mobile and stated the following: "I have closed all my accounts..." So logically if the person on the other end reads the first sentence it should sink in that, 'This person knows they have no account'. But NO. This person was TOO lazy to read and comprehend the message. I asked to remove my information from their system because I don't want spam messages. Want to take a wild guess at what their response was? Here it is: "...Please note you do not have any active mobile contract with us. Have a lovely day and let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with:)" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!! How absolutely unexplainably STUPID is this. I KNOW I don't have a contract with you, I stated I closed everything...In my FIRST SENTENCE!!!!! They call it, READ if you guys don't know. I want you to remove my information from your system. Is that such a difficult task. Is it too much to ask. I have no words to describe how baffled/irritated/angry I am at this. There really is no nice way to say what I want to say. So just take this review and continue with my request. I am done asking nicely.
THE rudist receptionist EVER. I went to this practice a couple of times (Taking students with serious knife cuts, for myself, colleagues etc.) EVERY SINGLE TIME if I call then the lady answering the phone is so rude and says the doctors are full. Well okay sorry, I don't work there, I am not in your office every 5 minutes to see your scheduling book. If and when you get a spot, while you wait, every single person (Patient) there is treated with contempt. I have seen when a rich person walks in that she knows well, she will be very friendly with and then immediately be rude again with the patients waiting.... The patients already feel horrible, they have pain...The rudeness DOES NOT HELP!!! The only reason patients stay is because either their medical aid is only accepted there. That does not mean you should treat people like this. Your job is to make people feel better. Come on man. BASIC skill tip: If the person does not work there, and does not know all YOUR rules, explain it to them courteously! In the past, I for one would rather spend thousands of rands to treat myself than to come to you. JUST so I don't need to interact with you. Luckily I got a better medical aid now so I don't have to come to you! You are doing a disservice to your patients. How many avoid coming to you just because of the receptionist. I Suggest she goes for proper training OR put her somewhere else in your business!
I wish I could give a minus infinity stars, because, REAALLLYYYY!!!!! This place has frustrated me since 2022. First it started with a laptop and ****le deal for R399, round off to R400 where the ****le was "FREE"...LIES! I have NEVER in the entire 36 month deal paid anywhere close to that. I got insurance from them on the laptop, sales agent could not/would not let me know how much it was. Had to cancel because the cost went up to the R680 region. Good luck getting that canceled! Then my statements show, "Itemized billing" which shows I pay for the data and ****le which was, you guessed it, "Free". Then these people ask you to share a photo of the page I saw the deal...REAALLLY??!!!! You have all the deals/Booklets of your deals on the system. You have the date I opened the account and YOU ask ME, then client. how lazy. Last year I notified I want to cancel my contract and then agreed to continue and finish it this year. I also asked at the same time that they should please change the email they send my statements to, STILL not done btw. And Now I had THE rudest agent call me. I explained that I am not using it and please cancel it. As I am started to try and explain the back story, all he says is, Thank you bye and dropped the call. This is why everyone I know, Family and friends, I tell them to never go to you guys. I will NEVER go to MTN ever in my life again. You do not care for your customers at all. You just want their money. For a company this size, I thought it will have it together and "CARE". I would rather go to Vodacom and pay a R1000 more for a deal than to EVER go to you guys again! Trying to communicate with them is also a challenge. The MOST frustrating thing to do. Even more frustrating than SMD Technologies. Seeing that your people don't want listen, I will say it here: MTN, close the account TODAY! This is the last month you will send me a statement and it WILL be the last month I pay. If not, I WILL block the debit order and any money you lose will be on YOUR people who REFUSE to listen, care and help!
I WISH there was an option for a Negative Star rating. 1 Star is being too generous SMD Technologies returns ESPECIALLY. Where I work, we supp**** students with tablets for their studies, so we order bulk. 2 Tablets have defective batteries and trying to get them to come and get the tablets and send it of to get fixed is unbelievably frustrating to say the least! The people responsible ask you to attach documents (Proof of Purchase) but they do not even READ the document!!!!! They want me to add a "Proof of Purchase" for EACH Tablet. Both are on the same ****** invoice!!! But good luck trying to get it through their heads. The invoice is for 100 Tablets, so if all 100 were defective I would have to attach 100 Proof of Purchase Documents, even if all of them are on the same document? Or attach the same document for the required amount of times? Really? Who does that!? Absolutely no one. I have to repeat myself EVERYTIME I have to do a return. If it is not a struggle to get them to log the tablets for fixing, then they will send the courier to the wrong address. When My colleague in Polokwane books a tablet for fixing and also goes so far to give the address, they come to me in Mokopane and vice versa. Once I had to call them and then you can hear everything and everyone BUT the operator. I had to ask the operator to tell her colleagues to keep it down cause I can not hear anything. They were screaming/shouting/laughing that loudly, but they continued. Finally I dropped the call and called again to get a different operator. THAT operator was good(5 Stars for him, not the company) I thought a company of this size would have it together!
