I never used Vox Telecom services in my whole life. They keep on deducting a debit order to my account. I emailed their help desk repeatedly with no answer to my problem. My confidential info supp**** below. Reply by email only. No phone calls.
Instead of always just complaining, I think one should give credit to the team who answer and follow up complaints here on Hello Peter. Every time there is fast reaction, solutions and follow up until it happens. There is no better customer service experience in this forlorn country, than here on Hello Peter and, in particular, Sanlam. I would feel completely helpless without this support. Thank you.

Takealot intentionally delays solving my return MRRNVVG9MQGEE by asking for accessories which are attached to the product. The instructions of the product says to attach them, therefore they are not loose in the box anymore but Takealot refuse to look at the product and see that the accessories are there, in the attached position in stead of loose. This delay is so unnecessary, it must be intentional. The promise of hassle-free returns is being broken, it is now false advertising.
On 19 November I bought what looks like my usual favorite box of Ola White Almond Mini Magnum ice-creams at exactly the same price as the previous time at Pick n Pay. I saw no adverti*****t or other information saying this product has changed and I do not compare the exact weight in grams per box from week to week, that would be insane. At our Sunday meal my family sat ready for this treat after a week of hard work, Magnum is always a special way to celebrate the weekend. But when I opened the box, same size as usual, there were only 5 ice-creams inside instead of 6, and they were visibly smaller than before. This means one family member did not get an ice-cream, what an insult to a hard-working consumer! There can be no doubt that Ola should know we can not reasonably see that this product has shrunk, the price certainly has not shrunk and nor did the box. This is dishonesty and exploitation, and after seeing too many instances like this, we are sick of it. Does Pick n Pay not check what suppliers do to products? I will never buy any Ola product again because you do not care about your paying customers, and I will not trust Pick n Pay to inform us and care about us. Query 5629318NF remains unresolved for weeks while my credit card has become unreliable and therefore useless. All I really want to know is whether recent problems with my credit card will affect IN PERSON purchases with the credit card inside shops in hotels. I am not interested in cellphone banking but in October received an error message on my phone that FNB unilaterally put a cellphone banking limit on my accounts "to protect me". Utter nonsense which I never asked for after 30 years of using this card on which I actually deposit money instead of owing it. Since October the OTP delivery has now become unreliable. Sometimes I receive the OTP and sometimes I do not. I cannot even work on my profile on an ATM because it now requires an OTP which never comes. But all of that is no problem, I just want to use the credit card IN PERSON like I have done for 30 years, but it must be reliable or I will change banks. Query 5629318NF was classified as "urgent priority" but nothing is done for weeks, I only got an automated reply about cell-phone banking steps which I did not ask for. My query remains unanswered after several attempts. I am angry and disappointed in FNB who used to be reliable until October 2023. LIKE MY PROFILE SAYS DO NOT CALL ME, WRITE TO ME! It is not easy to run a charity in this new era where government stopped almost all the financial aid orphanages and nursing homes used to get for decades. These are full-time staff who need salaries to live, and children with no hope other than SOS due to government failure, begging for charity. Instead of family planning policies and improved care, government has left the kids to charity just like our elderly (except for the tiny hand-outs that are almost impossible to arrange and receive, due to crumbling entities like SAPOS and SASSA). Fancy news laws like NHI are being written that have no practical forethought, only a desire to create more overpaid office-jobs while the needy practically receive less every year. Kids require healthcare, SOS makes a plan! So in that context I have for many years donated to SOS. I see many complaints here about debit orders, are they living in LaLaLand? In this dire time only the naive sign debit orders and then expect anything good from it. No, I make once-off donations for specific things, and I always get a letter back, in my preferred language, and before 28 February I receive a proper tax certificate - SOS is the only charity that understands such practicalities, and SARS accepts their tax certificates, wow! So, in essence, part of my taxes go to SOS instead of down the endless useless leak that is government, not only in South Africa but globally. For that, I thank you. I do not expect miracles, this here is the desecrated Earth not Heaven, but I expect reliable administration and I have received that from SOS for years. I do not know how you keep that up nowadays, but I hope you do. Finally, if people really cared, they would notice and use the greatest service SOS has, namely not their orphanages but their anonymous child-abuse reporting process. Something that has collapsed from government over the last decade, so someone has to do it. Thank you, SOS, for understanding what is going on. Please continue trying your best while the world falls deeper.
