Afrihost cancellation fee
Good day Peter Please assist.On the 20th November 2024 I app**** for a fibre with Vumatel only to find out Vuma is working with Afrihost.I received the message on 21st November 2024 for scheduled installation by Vumatel.The installer from Vumatel came on the 22nd November 2024 but he indicated that we have to remove the pavement before installation.He promised to comeback on the 23rd November the latest 24th until today.I tried the 012 number he gave us but you have to leave the message.I contacted Afrihost WhatsApp number and they promised to escalate the matter with Vumatel and the consultant indicated that we have to give Vumatel 48 to 72 hrs.I kept on following up with Afrihost that week alone I spent more that R300 buying the data out of frustration.I contacted Afrihost again on Thursday asking for assistance for me to cancel with them.I asked how much is gonna cost me for cancellation.The consultant indicated that I will pay on R100 to courier back the router.I cancel Afrihost on the 30th November 2024 after an hour boom invoice of R1000 I have to pay for cancellation for the services that afrihost failed to deliver.
