Bad service on Accounts and insurance

On the 24 of April 2026, I called in to request a downgrade from my Private Clients Acc to an aspire account due to on going charges that go off as items paid no funds I was told by the advisor that I will receive an email that the account will change to this day nothing has been done month end the account charged as normal and I didn't even bother to use or deposit money in it as it stands it's on a negative. Lastly I also contacted the tyre and rim department on the 30 April 2026 to reinstate or inquire about my policy I spoke a consultant I was told that the only person was on another line and will call me back this was around 16:20, nothing happened I called back on the same day around 16:45 found the same person they told me the lady is still busy and likelihood she will callback on Monday the 4th of May as the do not work on Public holidays and weekends, to date no call what just reminded me to write this review is that my tyres got torn after bad potholes on the Loskop road I am sitting here going to foot a bill for tyres from my own pocket while I had tyre insurance enquiries prior and something would have been sorted out but what can I say it's bad service from FNB

Slow Lounge

Slow lounge charge

On Monday I accessed the international slow lounge for the first time this year only to realised on Wednesday that I was charged R550, i enquired on the App and I was told I was on reward level 1 on my private client account. I think it's unfair to charged without being told they must create a system that will inform you before you enter if you are eligible for a visit or you will charged. I had options, I had my discovery card and my FNB business card I could have used them instead of the private clients. This is an unfair charge.

6 month reward for free banking fees

I was offered a 6 months reward of no payment of banking fees if I deposit R32500 this month I've been charged and when I call I am told it doesn't exist.

Banks charges written off

Good day, I trust you are well. I have had my Discovery account since 2019 but haven't really used it to it's full potential due to the fact that it's been on minus for most of the time due to the fact my contract ended in 2019 and i couldn't pay bank charges that had build up. Over the years it only increased I would like to switch my account from FNB to Discovery but everytime I think about the cost that's outstanding as attached currently it's on -R8 225.66 as shown in the attachment. Is the a way for all these interest acquired over the years to be written off so that the account is in good standing?

Items paid no funds

FNB is at it again it's the 3rd time I write a bad review this year regarding additional charges that mushroom from nowhere as #items paid no funds on my personal account as well as my business account you wake up next thing this appear on the statement for the last 3 months

Additional charges

I went through my bank statement again for the past 3 months, I have come across various amounts starting from 29 May 2024 R45, 06 June R39, 8 June R45, 18 July R45, 19 July R135, 2 August R200, 20 Aug 135 under the reference item paid no funds amounting to R644.00 From the 31st May R105 FNB, 1 June R105 Planet Fitness, 1 June R105 1Life, 1 July R105 FNB, 1 July R105 1Life, 1 July R105 1Life, 1 July R105 Planet Fitness, 1 Aug R105 1Life, 1 Aug R105 1Life, 1 Aug R105 Planet Fitness these amount to R1050. I have cancelled and blocked 1life and planet fitness numerous times but I still get to be charged for them trying to debt my account please look into these amounts and advise further

Additional charges

Good day, I am not happy with FNB additional charges on my personal and business account for the passed four months. On ITEM PAID NO FUNDS while the is funds in the account and service fees that are high. Certain amounts appear out of nowhere and then my accounts are on minus.
