This is the absolute worst agency I have ever dealt with. We've been with them for almost 2 years and almost never have I received assistance with any medical aid related queries. I have always ended up having to contact my medical aid directly. Their communication is terrible, the consultants are grossly misinformed and prefer hearing their own voice instead of yours if you're lucky enough to get through to someone. I have requested a cancellation form and I sincerely hope that the membership would at least be cancelled promptly when they receive it back from our side. This place has been a total waste of time and money and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
Still waiting for feedback since Wednesday on whether the fibre can even be installed, but already got a mandate to accept. Spoke to so many people from Vox already, been screamed at by the Openserve technician who keeps ignoring me and not giving feedback. Been getting false promises from Vox agents and the list goes on. I'm interested in getting fibre with good service and Vox is interested in selling dreams and pocketing the money. Vox won't get jack **** from my bank account before our interests align. Hopefully now someone will assist me. This is disgusting man. In which lifetime do you hear that the fibre technician screams at you over the phone for a solid few minutes?! I AM LIVID TO SAY THE LEAST !!
Jonathan Gordon promised me to go have a look at our premises to see if fibre can be installed and to give feedback. He went to the premises and spoke to the owner. Desperately called him numerous times for feedback, only for him to finally answer my call and scream at me for a solid few minutes and drop the line. This is disgusting service to say the least. May he get fired so that he can get a job where he doesn't have to speak to people. Can't get through to Openserve to get any feedback or lay a complaint so HelloPeter is the next best thing.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Called head office, cancelled my membership, made an immediate payment for cancelation fee and only found out afterwards I still need to pay for the following month. Called the Team Leader of Collections (Ronel), who then told me that everything is fine and they would not debit me again. Promised me that she'd send me an email confirming this - never happened of course. Needless to say, they debited me AGAIN. Calling in is a mission on it's own because if the consultant can't explain why they catch on ****, they drop the line or leave you on mute until you drop. Or the classic is "Sorry, Ronel is out for the day," after I was told she'd contact me before the end of the day. I've been going back and forth with this place and I've officially had it with them. I understand now why everyone prefers Planet Fitness. If I had to choose between looking like a whale and having anything to do with Virgin Active, I'd happily embrace the salt.
Beauty assisted me with the application of my bank account. She was very kind, informative and super patient. She knows how to keep the call professional, but still makes the process fun and comfortable. She didn't sound like a robot and I could engage in an actual conversation with her. Discovery Bank, Beauty deserves a raise!!
