Express Loans Alberton branch

I took a one month loan with them in 2024 and paid it off the following month. The account still reflects on my credit score as not paid and it’s ruining my credit score, spoke to the Alberton branch to update it and ensure that the is indeed closed and they still haven’t done anything, asked for a paid up letter so that I can send it to Experian for it to be updated accordingly, still nothing. It’s 2026 now and the account is still there ruining my credit score

Clicks online order (click and collect)

I made an online order (click and collect) on the 6th of January. It’s now the 17th of January I still haven’t received my order, it still says processing when I check. I called clicks customer service yeaterday and they say it also say that on their system as well and when they called the store ( Clicks Lemon Tree Alberton) they say it wasn’t delivered. I’m still waiting on further feedback. I’m really disappointed in their service. I must say, I don’t see myself ever buying online from them again.

Medical aid savings refund

I was supposed to receive my savings refund end of October and till this day 19 November 2025 I haven’t still received it. I called them this morning and they said they don’t know why but I should have received it. It’s very unprofessional I must say and not helpful at all.

Candy washing machine

I bought a candy washing machine in july 2023 and it's already been broken twice. Candy doesn't wanna authorize a refund so that Makro Alberton can refund me my money back. The worst appliance there is.

Makro Alberton

I bought a Candy machine in August, in November it stopped working and I went to Makro to report it and they said they’ll send a technician to come and check it only after then they’ll decide whether to fix it or replace it. It’s been 5 weeks and I haven’t gotten a call from anyone cause a technician is supposed to call me and inform me when will they come.

Failure to submit and comply

My company got a chance to get to supply the hospital with supplies and we have made more than 3 food deliveries to the hospital but no payment has been made to date, since March 2022. The proof of delivery and quotations have been submitted multiple times but not even a single payment has been paid out. And there’s no tangible reason as to why there’s been such a delay.

Beares Alberton Bad Service

I had an account which I opened on September 2021 and I managed to pay off within 6 months. I took couches and a stove. And by July this year the leather couches started tearing and I went to Beares Alberton to report it and even showed them photos and they said they send a driver to come fetch them for them to be repaired. Last week 25th October I went back and they told me that the driver is in Rusternburg and as soon as they return he’ll come. Today it’s the 1st of November and they still haven’t fetched them, and now the stove is also not working.
