Don't try and complain about consumer abuse tho this organisation. I found their contact info online. Wrote two emails to different dresses on the web page , all came back. Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: Then tried calling, first i was number 4 in the que to be connected then suddenly I was number 8 in the que, FIVE minutes later I was number 8 and that's when I ended the call. We are being ripped-off left right and centre and the body to protect the consumers is in cahoots with BIG business Don't bother using the email address provided it does not exist [email protected] [email protected]
Good Day. I ordered 5 lit of mineral turpentine costing R 275.00 from MAKRO. Three weeks later they email me the item is out of stock and I must wait 2 weeks for a refund. Checking on line I see the item is in stock at a new price of R289.00 If they falsely claim out of stock why must I wait 2 weeks for my refund to be processed. This is a deliberate ploy to charge more than the original priced displayed and keep your money for 6 weeks In addition when I wanted to bring this to the Consumer Council all mail addresses on their web site came back, Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
Service we all dream of, last seen a hundred years ago. I have just experienced customer service at a level that I thought died with the dinosaurs. I ordered some metal bits from a company, Metal Centre in Johannesburg. Not the engineering type I placed my order, via email, in centimetres not knowing that all engineering measurements must be in millimetres. This ignorance, on my part, caused a problem when I went to collect. The sales department informed me that they don't have stock in the size I needed but they will order and deliver. TWO HOURS LATER , unbelievable, my front door bell rang and the complete order was delivered. If you need a new grid for your braai or any metal I will look no further.
Makro online need to educate their employees. Not only the workers but the skilled managers and it operators. Go online, see a product., read the description an you have a 50% you will receive something else. This is from my personal experience. They deliver the wrong article and refund your payment. After a while your credit card charges mount up for goods never received, and who foot the bill, no Makro.
Last rainy season my roof sprung a leak and the next day it was Fixed. It is sad when huge corporations swallow the position to create a money hungry monster, yet deceiving the public by allowing the old to continue as if nothing has happened. I have flown 6 international flights with Swiss Air in the last 12 months and I am sad to say the romance is over. In future I will try Air France or British Air as they offer very similar deals for my needs. When a corporation is more driven by GREED than customer satisfaction its a very sad day for all. Its even worse when they lie to passengers in order to squeeze additional fees from them. During my last flight about 10 consecutive rows in economy class were empty while every one was squashed in the back of the plane because these were priority, Not Business or Premium Economy, NO to sit on these seats will cost you an additional R1,000.00. Even if you are a premium gold card frequent flyer. The LIE, passengers are not allowed to sit there for safety reasons ??? LIE no 2 the plane needs to be balanced therefor passengers are not allowed, unless you pay R1,000.00, They would rather fly an empty plane than allow passengers some comfort AFTER takeoff. Try contacting the, if you don't have a paid booking its not possible. Greed has been the downfall of many a man and organisation
This must be the biggest mafia protected by the government. Do they have shares in cell phone companies ????? Trying to log a fault the average holding time is 90 minutes. If your call is not answered after 20 minutes you are automatically cut off and must start again. If you are lucky to talk to a person, they log your call and send an SMS with a number and a website, that does not exist to check on the progress. I have spent R400 the last three days and the water is still leaking from the meter on my side into the street. Beside the call cost i will at the end be liable for the loss of water. As a pensioner with a limited income I consider this ********. The city has passed the water supply to a PRIVATE company that is only interested in profit not service delivery and we are the victims of this mafia style of business
Beware of misleading and incorrect product description on this site!!! I saw a smokeless combination electric charcoal braai, but instead I got a cheap charcoal only braai, could have bought a small WEBBER for the same price. The problem now is that if I return this item I still have to pay the delivery cost. Why are we now *********ed into this subscription scheme or pay R75 for delivery, where delivery for ove R500 was free. I wanted to use this purchase to clear my credit with Takealot. If this article were returned my previous credit will not be refunded only what was paid on this transaction. What is the actual job description of the Metro Police, excluding collection COOL DRINK money ??? Who is responsible enforcing Municipal laws, if they exist wit the present council/management.
