Zero trust in this company: We places an order in November 2022 which has still not been delivered, and it is now August 2024. They have ignored all of my emails and phone-calls, and they don't seem to care. I have put this review up several times and is has been removed. They are aware that I have an issue and I have been called buy two separate people from Lifestyle Home since adding my review, both of whom promised to call me back with a resolution by the end of two separate days, neither of which did. This feels like they just made the call and made empty promises in order to get the review removed. I will post this every day until the issue is resolved.
I purchased a yoga bag for my mother from Lisa Raleigh, and after a few uses, the bag strap completely unravelled from both sides of the bag. Then I contacted them, and asked if they could repair it, they collected the bag, and the on inspection, they decided to replace it. Now the second bag has done the same thing!!! They will not take the bag back. I would not recommend this company at all. They clearly buy cheap products, and place a ridiculously high value on them. I will never be shopping there again, or recommending them to anyone. They're a waste of money, and the poor quality of their products does not match up to the price they are selling them for. They are to worth it.
I have never experience such shocking and disgusting customer service in my entire life. I purchased a dress online, which arrived on 9 March 2021, which first of all, was not the quality I expected for the price I paid. A few weeks later I decided to wear it to an event but when I tried it on, it was too small, so on the 6 April 2021 (less than 30 days from when I received the item) I contacted their customer service department for a return form as the item does not fit. Now baring in mind that there is nothing wrong with the item, other than it being too small, so you would think that it wouldn't be such a c**** for Forever New to let me return it but no. The item cannot be returned as the order was placed more than 30 days ago... Now hold on, I have only had the item in my possession from 9 March, and decided that on 6 April that it needed to be returned, which is still within the 30 day limit, so what the hell!!! The item has never been worn, other than when I had to try it on. It still has the tags on it. I am incredibly disgusted with the treatment I have received from the Forever New customer service department in South Africa. I should have the right, as the customer, to return an item, if it does not meet my expectations, and especially if it does not fit. And I should 100% be allowed to return the item if it has not been in my possession for more than 30 days!!! Forever New South Africa is run by thieves and I would never in my life recommend anyone to order anything online from them, or even walk into one of their shops, as they 100% do not give a damn about the customer or their rights.
