RPF Africa
Communicare made a HUGE mistake partnering with RPF Africa.
I have been living in a complex for 17 years. It was managed by Communicare, who were not perfect, but I could always get a hold of the property manager for permissions, when ordering a large appliance. Now with RPF Africa managing the property, it is impossible to get a hold of any relevant person. Dominique is our property manager, she instructed me to send her a whatsapp with my details and delivery details on Monday 13th April 2026 which I did and have proof of. The washing machine is being delivered today, 15th April 2026 so I went to the security office this morning to confirm all is in order and NO. They had nothing. I tried calling her, I tried calling the office to no avail. Now what?

Woolworths Retail South Africa

Woolies Dash should change name to Woolies WAIT!
I dont know why I keep using woolies dash because they should change the name to woolies wait.. #*** I ordered at 13:45. They gave me a time slot of between 16:00 and 17:00? This would be the Canal Walk branch. Its the second time I have ordered this month and on both occasions this has happened. Is it because they are so busy? Well I dont think I will be ordering again online as it takes 3 hours for 8 items to be delivered not even 5km from store.

Pick n Pay

Do not offer Online if you cant Support it!!!!!
We used the Online store, for our companies monthly kitchen supplies. We collected it at the Paarden Eiland pick up point. We were charged in full but were 3x 6pck of milk short. The kettle is also not working correctly. I have emailed multiple times, called multiple times, a man called Cams from Online customer care was so rude. Its now been a week and still no call, no reply to my emails. How is PNP online still doing business?

Mweb

MWEB needs to improve their incoming call prompts, its a nightmare!
I was eventually assisted today, after 2 calls yesterday which was patient testing, and 2 calls this morning. Just to upgrade an email size... after being cut off by a lady called Bongi in sales. Who never even called back. Last lady who assisted us was efficient and wish I got her name to praise her but left a good review on survey after call.

MWEB answering/prompt service is a nightmare!
Trying to call in, to have a mail box increased in size, took me 15min on hold, their prompt asks the same questions, doesnt pick up the ID number, over and over, then getting blind transferred after coming through to Yolanda, who didnt even say she was transferring me, then Im back at Technical then Sales. Eventually being helped by a sales person was quick, but what a nightmare getting through.

Hellopeter - Thank you!!!
We were experiencing very unethical business practice from a well known company in South Africa. We did everything we could from our side to assure there were no issues from our side after cancelling our contract almost 4 months in advance of an expected 3 month cancellation and they still charged us rental and other fees afterwards. No response to emails, so I left a review on Hellopeter - within an hour the MD emailed me. It took some time but it seems to now have been sorted - Thanks to Hellopeter! So thank you for your reputation and influence in assisting companies and individuals in getting fair and ethical treatment.

Ombudsman For Banking Services (obssa)

Why does the OBSSA exist? They work for the banks not the public!!
Nedbank wanted R21000 repayment on debt of R9000, then their debt collection lawyers are charging excessive fees. I have been asking for a resonable repayment amount but want a written repayment agreement so I know what I am paying for. They tell me that fees (admin and ..and..and) plus intestest with be ongoing but cant give me an amount or settlement agreement. Adriaan du Plooy an Adjudicator for OBSSA has requested emails, has requested communication and an investigation was done. To be told their is nothing they can do. They cannot force the bank to accept lower repayments - after I got an email saying they accept an amount and have informed the OBSSA they accept to be told by Norlam (their debt lawyers) that they will only accept it for 3 months. They have done absolutely nothing, the frustrating thing is from the onset of communication I expressed I want a settlement agreement amount indicating how long I will be paying and basically after a 2 month investigation they send an email saying that they cant do anything, then after the agreed amount from bank was not accepted by Norlam, again they ask me for the emails (with proof the bank accepted it) they say they cant do anything. So why the heck did they ask for the emails, why did they take 2 months to investigate when they cant do anything????? Why do they exist? What is their use? I would like to know if they have ever been able to assist anyone in the history of their existence? I got the distinct impression they work for the banks and not for consumers/victims!
