Terrible experience at Woodview (Checksave). I was standing in a queue at a teller when noticed an acquaintance asking for help. he was attempting to return a sealed packet of cigarettes with till slip in hand. he was told that it would not be posssible and he came over to me, said hello and promptly left. the lady who had spoken to him then came towards the queue i was in and spoke to her manager in a loud voice , saying how rude the guy had been, i took no offence and said nothing at the time, however discussing a patron loudly enough for other customers to hear is in itself *********. When it was my turn at the teller i very politely asked why couldnt the cigarttes be returned. i was taken aback by the respose by samantha mohamed(possibly **** name given, staff wore no name badges). she responded by telling me that it was none of my business. i later spoke to her manager explaining that surely enquiring as to the return policy of checksave is well within my rights. It got worse, at this point the security person approach and put his hand on my person, at no point was i out of control, threatning or vulgar. he decided he had heard enough of the truth and decided to intervene. to his credit he did back off when asked to. samantha on the other hand displayed a level of arrogrance and ignorance that was truly astounding, laughing cynically at my conversation with her manager.She left the scene without any resolution being reached. speaking to other members of our community i found that this type of behavior seeems almost normal for this store with many members of our community claimimg a similar level of abuse at the mouths of these tellers. This is unacceptable.
Just had a terrible experience at Fishaways Chris Hani Road. First of the aircons are not working with the doors closed. I ordered the F5 menu option upsized the hake. My meal arrived without the coleslaw and chips, it was then realized I had been given the wrong order. My order arrived a few minutes later, a mouthful into my meal and i was bilious, the Coleslaw was gone bad sour. I asked for a refund and thats all I got, hardly an apology for my wasted hour lunch break. Back at work thinking what could have been. Terrible food and customer relations
