Terrible experience at Woodview (Checksave). I was standing in a queue at a teller when noticed an acquaintance asking for help. he was attempting to return a sealed packet of cigarettes with till slip in hand. he was told that it would not be posssible and he came over to me, said hello and promptly left. the lady who had spoken to him then came towards the queue i was in and spoke to her manager in a loud voice , saying how rude the guy had been, i took no offence and said nothing at the time, however discussing a patron loudly enough for other customers to hear is in itself *********. When it was my turn at the teller i very politely asked why couldnt the cigarttes be returned. i was taken aback by the respose by samantha mohamed(possibly **** name given, staff wore no name badges). she responded by telling me that it was none of my business. i later spoke to her manager explaining that surely enquiring as to the return policy of checksave is well within my rights. It got worse, at this point the security person approach and put his hand on my person, at no point was i out of control, threatning or vulgar. he decided he had heard enough of the truth and decided to intervene. to his credit he did back off when asked to. samantha on the other hand displayed a level of arrogrance and ignorance that was truly astounding, laughing cynically at my conversation with her manager.She left the scene without any resolution being reached. speaking to other members of our community i found that this type of behavior seeems almost normal for this store with many members of our community claimimg a similar level of abuse at the mouths of these tellers. This is unacceptable.

So I've been in checksave for 6 years on brickfield Overport somewhat I enjoy my experiences especially with management understanding her name is ARUSHA and I would like to thank her sincerely for all her help getting help the effort she pushed to geting what you need is 5 star for me thank u ARUSHA may u get a higher promotion...... Thank u once again.

Hi I would like to lay a formal complaint of the poor quality of your products. I purchased the Russians from your check save in Phoenix plaza. I found a plastic inside of the meat. This is not acceptable and disgusting to bit into the cooked Russian and find plastic inside. The plastic had a print on it which was Crown national I would like to be compensated for my purchases as I cannot consume this toxic product. I hope you take this complaint seriously and respond promptly Kind Regards

Dear Checksave I am writing to express concern about the behavior of Ashwin Vidiakumar, Regional Manager at the Unit 9 Chatsworth branch. During my recent store visit, I witnessed Mr. Vidiakumar interacting with staff in an unprofessional and discourteous manner. Specifically, he threatened to terminate employees if they left the store early today the 28/04/2025 after the employees explained to him that it was a public holiday and they have transport issues . I found this behavior disturbing and felt it necessary to report it. I hope you will investigate this matter and take appropriate action to maintain a positive work environment for your employees. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They are selling rotten eggs on special for R65.99. Every single egg is rotten. Unfortunately we had misplaced the receipt so we couldn't take them back we had to throw them away. The shop is selling expired goods on sale
