I got a Samsung A30s in July last year from Incredible Connection. The screen became Faulty on the 30 December. It was handed in to an accredited service center by Incredible Connection. The phone was returned end of January , only to discover it had network issues. I was referred directly to Samsung Menlyn where I received the worst customer service and was accused of not taking the phone to an accredited service center. The technician then stated the mother board was tempted with, hence the problems. Upon booking in the phone the technician saw it was booked into one of they service centers. He then went ahead to book it in under a false date because it was less than 3 months since the last repair which made my phone seem out of warranty( fraud by stating a wrong date). A week later I receive a email stating I have to pay over R5500 because generic parts where used in repairing it.( THEY OWN ACCREDITED SERVICE CENTER) Since then I contacted the service center and provided all requested references. They keep stating they investigating if the claim is true but yet the proof is right before them. They used generic parts to fix my phone and damaged it as well. I have requested an exchange as they investigate because I cannot suffer without a device due to they negligence, mal practice and fraudulent acts by there staff. They keep insisting on their repair warranty. I have stated repeatedly that all the above acts dispute the repairs warranty due to they actions going against the Consumer Protection Act and Consumer rights. They even had the audacity to say that i have to ***** the phone up and return it , to the service center that put GENERIC parts and DAMAGED the mother board. Which would entail me waiting an additional month again The worst part I constantly have to call them in to no one been available from the VOC department and neither is they management. How can no one be available if your case has been escalated and been investigated. Samsung not taking responsibility and trying to find an escape goat s ridiculous instead of an exchange. I should even requested an upgraded for all the inconvenience and mal practice. My patience has run out and seems the only way forward is to involve lawyers.
The worst service in the world(is an understatement). Completely rude ( especially LIKA WHITE who they send to terrorize and frighten people) after their get your money and when its time to refund your deposit. In addition they racism is very evident even though they try to hide it. Furthermore, not mention the number of laws they broke during my lease period, which include invasion of my privacy and belongs, as well as impersonating me to ADT. Moreover, they are not properly registered with the EAAB council. You are honestly taking a risk, do not sign anything with them or rent any property from them. All their want is your money and do not live up to the contract. They find every means to not to refund your deposit. Honestly they should be shut down for not been properly registered and still running without the correct documents.
