I LOVE Kauai wraps and was super excited when I saw they have a wrap subscription on the app (5 wraps to be redeemed within 30 days) I recently bought the wrap subscription on the Kauai app. I was at Kauai when I bought the subscription and afterwards immediately placed my first order for a wrap wanting to make use of my subscription. I noted on my banking app that the amount for the subscription was deducted twice from my account as well as the full amount of the wrap I ordered. I reached out to Kauai customer service via email and FB regarding the double deduction (not mentioning that I also paid full price for my first order given that I still had all my wrap vouchers available on the app, i.e. it did not deduct one). The double payment was reversed and I immediately got confirmation from my bank as well regarding the reversal. I was super impressed when customer service also picked up on their own that I paid full price for a wrap after my purchase and gave me a free wrap voucher to compensate for that! Mistakes happen and is understandable, thank you Kauai for taking accountability, resolving the matter and also going out of your way to make up! I will definitely buy a subscription again!
Good deals on variety of wine. User-friendly website, efficient and quick delivery.. I ordered x3 cases of wine in Jan 2021 while there was still restrictions in place and wine was promptly delivered once restrictions/ban were lifted.
This review is a bit overdue - I bought some Joico products from Salon500 on 30 November 2020 as part of their Black Friday promotions and wow what great deals they have! Delivery took a while to CPT (understandable given that it was Black Friday deals). One of the hair treatments was the incorrect size (50ml instead of 150ml) but their friendly and efficient customer service resolved the issue promptly and the correct size was shipped immediately. I will buy from Salon500 again.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. They advertised 4 weeks free, no commitment, membership which I decided to give it a try in Aug 2020. The courses did not work for me so I cancelled before my 4 week trial ended. After following all the steps to cancel, I was under the impression that everything is sorted and I never have to think of Shaw Academy again... BUT then on 23 June 2021 I get a notification from my bank that they have deducted R399 from my account!!!!! I immediately sent them an email as this payment was not authorised from my side and my membership is cancelled. They responded with saying that "The cancellation process was not completed either by following all the steps in your account... Therefore, your subscription was still active and you were charged for the subscription renewal...based on our terms and conditions we unable to process a refund." This is untrue as I recall phoning them twice to ensure my cancellation is complete and my profile also clearly stated membership cancelled. So somehow they had reactivated my account without informing me - no email of notification- only to now deduct R399 for services I did not use nor consent to.
Warning - STAY CLEAR Detailed review will follow soon - first was to discuss matter with a legal practitioner however want to warn everyone to stay clear. You can expect empty promises, excessive delays without merit, excuses and more excuses and poor to non-existent communication from this supplier.
MyBeautyLuv is by far one of the best online stores I have ever experienced. Reasonable prices and products = impeccable! They have a wide range of salon products and brands as well as their own range. I have repeatedly bought from MyBeautyLuv and will continue to do so. Their collagen is my new addiction!
