I placed an order on 24 July and never received it. Their email address no longer works and their website is down. There is no other way to contact them.
This review is specifically for the Bethlehem branch. My mom (a 72 year old pensioner, living on a farm) ordered and paid for an upgrade to her solar system in March. Due to COVID there were some delays but by September they were still finding excuses not to install. I got involved and complained about the shoddy treatment. When the COVID excuse didn't fly anymore we were told that the stock my mom paid for had been stolen during lockdown. So they just made her wait for 6 months. After I demanded that they make a plan they finally came to install but threatened to dump the stock an not do the installation if I contacted them again. They did finally do the installation but they did not provide an installation certificate and there is no guarantee on the work or equipment either. They also never gave her an invoice so that she could insure her installation. Their installation lasted 6 weeks before the inverter packed up. They refused to come out and repair and told my mom to find someone else to help. 2 weeks after that the brand new batteries also died. The person that came to check the installation informed my mom that not only did they not put the installation through the DB board (he claims she told him to do that - even though he is the expert and give safety advice) they also connected all the wiring with insulation tape rather than the clips provided on the solar panels. They refuse to deal with her further because I was apparently too rude in trying to get them to deliver on their promise. I regret not taking the offer of a refund. 9 months later my mom still has no power and has had to pay for all new equipment. I've tried contacting head office but haven't had a response from them either. Do not use this company. They do not provide any form of aftercare or guarantees on their work.
<p>I wanted to switch my fibre to Vumatel's network and booked an installation through Cell C. We agreed on a date and I arranged to cancel my existing service so that I wouldn't have to pay double. That was much too optimistic on my part.</p> <p>Vumatel did not arrive for their installation appointment. They didn't let me know that they couldn't make it. Nor did they answer their phones or return my call. I had to wait another week for the next appointment. </p> <p>They arrived this time, did the installation and left without the fibre working. I was told that it was a minor problem and would be sorted on the same day. It wasn't. I escalated to Cell C who escalated to management who did nothing. </p> <p>I got a call yesterday from someone in response to a mail I had sent promising to send a team at the latest today. But still nothing. And this afternoon a lady phoned to reschedule my installation. Really? </p> <p>I have been without internet for 2 weeks now and have decided to go back to my original provider. At least they had really good customer service.</p>
I recently ordered some coffee pods from Coffee Capsules Direct and unfortunately received the wrong item. Within minutes of my email (seriously, it was 2 minutes!) I had a phone call from them to sort it all out. They arranged for a courier to collect the incorrect item from me and sent me the correct items.<br> <br> The service was wonderful and I have to say the coffee is amazing too. I'll be ordering from them again - not just for the good coffee but also for the service. You guys rock!
