Communication with this company is an absolute nightmare. I logged a claim and still haven't been assisted 3 hours later. The contact number provided goes to an automated voice that doesn't give you an option to speak to someone and the only option is a chat block that they don't pay any attention to. They are very quick to sign you up and take your money but when it come to claims they don't care. I am taking all my devices off Pineapple as of today.
The worst service you will ever receive. This company is full of criminals that will basically hold you hostage until you pay them a stupidly expensive fee. We were quoted R365 for call out fee to get keys that were locked in the car. When the first guy arrived, he tried to access the vehicle with crowbar and wire hanger, to which he failed and ended up causing damage evaluated to R16 ooo (Sixteen Thousand Rand) which LockTec refuse to pay because they say they contracted the locksmith and the locksmith doesn't work for the company. Its absolutely ridiculous. They ended up charging us R5600 to get a key out of a car. The owner of the company Evert Van Starden is the biggest criminal. It would serve us all the world of good if this company goes down and shuts its doors.
