Booked with Investec Travel, and they use Thomson's Travel. They charged me double and after more than a week they still have not refunded me. Received an excuse that someone else (another family unrelated to us) needs to pay their costs fist before they refund me. This is so ********* and quite frankly *******. Charging you twice and not refunding you. Using an excuse that they charged me for someone else's travel "accidentally", and not refunding my money is *******.
I ordered a product/part that is hard to find. Made payment the afternoon and the next morning it was delivered. The service was impeccable! Called the next day and when picking up the phone to order another product, they knew who they were speaking to without me saying. Such a great experience!
Bought a Louis Vuitton handbag for R30k. First ever second hand purchase and was Dessing the worse. Well, guess what. After 4 days and 6 emails, no response. Also wanted to buy other bags, but wanted to test this first. Won’t recommend shopping online. Rather wait for the bags you want from the brand store itself. If you buy cheap, expect what you get. Still not convinced this is not a **** after the lack of communication.
Forex Department There is no possible way to contact someone in any department under FOREX. After multiple requests for a call or answer to my mails, requesting answers for their errors, there is no response. It is like dealing with a ghost bank.
Ordered products online. It arrived dirty and stained. It was also the wrong size. Nobody responds to the mails and the phone line lets you hold for more than 20mins without answering.
Don’t ever order goods from Col’cacchio Willowbridge through UberEats If you order 3 portions pasta with additional ingredients, you will not get it. This has happened multiple times times now. I have even called them and the arrogant manager said that they only received payment for one, which is ****, as I even sent her the bill paid. The lack of responsibility and care is disgusting.
New BMW X5 stalled and would not move. My wife was in the car. BMW "On Call" was called. That is supposed to be this great service they have. They told my wife to wait 60 minutes at the car in the road...how dangerous is that and how pathetic. She took an Uber to the house for safety. We informed BMW of that and said they must come pick the keys up at home. BMW then called 90 minutes later to say that they are at the the Vehicle and there is no one there. We informed them of the communication to come pick the car up at our house. They seriously insisted we go back to the car with the key... I honestly cannot comprehend the lack of safety for woman and the pathetic service.
I bought a 2021 BMW X5 30d an approximately a year ago for just under R1,8mil at SMG Tygervalley. Three weeks after buying the the X5 I received a call from BMW that the engine was replaced on arrival. No sales person nor the DP ever told us about this. BMW SA also did not care and shunned all responsibility. The pathetic car is leaking oil (is this not just like an old joke with BMW...that is why the joke is true). Buy anything except a BMW! For the same price you can buy a Porsche Cayenne 3l which build quality is significantly better. The sales staff is not to blame as they carried no knowledge of the mess that BMW SA caused.
I bought a Tallado Sideboard from Weylandts. The unit was of poor quality, but I bought that and that is my problem. The unit was however faulty and the door would not close. I have mead repeated requests for this to be corrected/replaced and informed them of this the first time on 10 Feb. 20 days later I finally got an automated email saying they got a service request from "customer care". I wrote 3 emails subsequently, and no answer from them. Their website claims to get back to you in 1 or 2 working days. This is obviously not the case and is false advertising/ promises. The after sale service is really shocking. So the next thing to do is to rack up costs legally, which is not what I need in my life. Lesson learnt. Either do not buy from them or refuse delivery when the units are faulty. Have the delivery people wait while you thoroughly examine the products (which are mostly cheaper imports).
John Spangenberg and his team was fantastic. Utterly professional, patient and took great care with every single item. The attention to detail of the artworks as well as space was impressive. No move goes perfectly, this one however did. Superb Service!!! The requirement was to move a large quantity of high value contemporary art. The items were not just paintings, but also included very sensitive and large scale works. Their art handlers and packers was so professional and knowledgable. They knew exactly what to do and the team operated seamlessly. They had to pack each individual item, some required travel frames and some were so sensitive that the slightest twist or mishandling could have caused major damage. The items ranged from 3 meter plexiglass works, mylar and high impact vacuum form works and major large sculpture that weighed hundreds of kilograms. They also has to contend with a very difficult 200m steep driveway. I did not ever thin k that something like this was possible. They also moved my household items, packed it and all went well. Not one broken glass. The items/boxes were marked clearly and was easy to unpack. Their removal of all the rubble was a blessing.
