I went to Jeep Menlyn with a hooter problem on my Jeep Compass. According to their diagnostic report, I needed to replace the Clock Spring for over R10000 including fitment. After the part has arrived from the USA and fitted, the hooter was still not working. I have wasted over R10000 for nothing. Now the dealership is saying the problem is with the Fuse Box/Computer Box at the cost of another R30000. Instead of Jeep Menlyn accepting the blame and even go into an agreement with me on a rebate on the Fuse Box, they wanted me to foot the whole 30k price tag meanwhile they caused the R10000 loss. I expect more from the Jeep Brand than this terrible service that they have given me. By this, I will give Jeep Menlyn 1 star terrible service. 23-02-2023
I had a break-in on 01-01-2020 and called Standard Bank with the case no. Within 3 days Standard bank brought an assessor JR Contractors who also turn out to be a contractor and fixed all the breakages within the accepted time. I'm so happy with Standard Bank and I will recommend Standard Bank Insurance to all my friends and relatives. Keep up the good work.
I had a break-in on 01-01-2020 night and filled the insurance forms with the case no and sent to CIB Insurance underwritten by Guard-risk via PSG brokers. CIB brought an assessor and a Valuer to do evaluation of my household content which the Valuer got it to be about 1 million. I objected and my broker PSG told me to do my own evaluation and I got it to be about 500k. CIB rejected and told me that they will only accept new valuation values from a professional assessor. My professional assessor got the household content to be about 540k and CIB rejected this new value after I have paid my assessor R 3000 saying the figure is too far off the 1st Valuer value of 1 million. CIB then brought in an assessor to do the evaluation again for the 3rd time and got the house hold content to be 630k which is not far from the 2nd Valuer as compared to the 1st evaluation of 1 million. Meanwhile I have insured my household content to be 370K which is under insured and I accept. I claimed about 70k but CIB insurance reduced it to 50k without explaining to me and paid a percentage amounting to 28k. I could see CIB insurance was all the time trying to evaluate my household content to be high so that they could payout minimum. Why did they evaluate my stuff to be over 1 million in the 1st place and secondly why did they waste my R3000 to hire a professional Valuer and later turn his work down. I have since then cancelled my insurance with CIB and left PSG brokers.
I bought the ikhokha solo stand alone machine with sim card and it was ready for business from day 1. No training was required. Their charges are low and they don't charge you for not meeting your target and the machine is yours forever. The only problem I have experienced is network not working sometimes during the xmas peak period. They should keep up the good work.
