****mers! Told me on whatsapp that I have to pay import duties. When I asked for the order number, silence. They never had a parcel to deliver to me. Make sure who your courier is before paying any money.
I should give minus 10. This is a courier service used by Temu. I was informed at 08h59 on Sunday 24 May 2026 that they would deliver before 18h00. I sent a whatsapp at 18h20, I called twice at 18h28 on Whatsapp, I called on my Vodacom. No answer. Then to put the cherry on top, Valentino from GFS deleted his call log. However, it did not delete my call log. This is not a service at all. At the very least they could have let me know that they are late or not coming at all.
I would give minus 10. The bus left Bellville Cape Town on 13 May 2026 at 14h00. At 17h30 on 14 May 2026 I am still awaiting the arrival of the bus at Pretoria Station, Gauteng which should have arrived at 10h10 on 14 May 2026 - already 7 and a half hours later than scheduled. Needless to say I will NEVER book on Greyhound EVER AGAIN.
I received notice to pay a small amount for customs. However, their original message has disappeared, and when I asked the order number on their whatsapp line, they failed to respond. Are they ****ming people or are they just ignoring my request? This is troublesome as Temu uses them.
How do you conduct business when you cannot contact Discovery. I was told at 10h00 this morning i.e. 3 March 2025, that one of the supervisors, who were in a meeting, would call me. It is now 17h27 and still I have not received any call! It is outrageous. Discovery debits my bank account for a huge R17K, but cannot give me call! Even if you want to cancel your insurance, you talk to a robot who refers you to a call centre number where you hold on for hours, without being attended to. Maybe I must request a quote. I am sure to receive their call without delay????
On 21 Nov 2024 I ordered a 10.5kg Whirlpool Top Loader Washing Machine from My Techhouse.online and paid R13999 by means of OZOW payment. The OZOW payment went through the FNB account as My Technology House. To date I have not received the washing machine, neither have I been able to speak to any person at My Technology House. They do not answer their phones, nor do they respond to any emails. According to my opinion, both Ozow (who deals with all the major banks) and My Technology House are responsible for de*****ing me out of R13999 and both these companies should be banned from doing online business and they should be fined heavily. I am out of pocket of R13999 and I do not have the washing machine which I paid for. I do NOT have money to just pay for another Whirlpool Washing Machine. In my opinion, never pay through some or other gateway. You do not have a proof of payment, you cannot contact them, you cannot reverse your payment. Online business in South Africa is the best way to de***** people of their hard earned money with absolutely no consequences for the online business or the payment gateway.
I sent an email on 22 January 2025. To date it has not been opened, acknowledged or responded to. It is no wonder that anybody can just take you for a ride, ***** your money and not deliver a product, because the national government body who is supposed to stop such conduct, is of NO USE TO THE CONSUMER
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM. I bought a R16000 washing machine which I paid for on 21 November 2024. No answer to my email of 2 December 2024, no answer on their so-called support line as they have constant high call volumes, no matter whether you pick option 1 Sales, option 2 Support or option 3 any other queries. I am definitely reporting them to the SAPS as a *****ulent online business.
I ordered an inverter whereby I could choose to buy a 6000W inverter. However, there was no option as to whether it should convert from 12V or 24V. I received my order 381020 but the inverter is from 24V. My query per email which was set out in detail was answered by a person who asked me what my problem was. Apparently the person is either an idiot or does not understand English. We require the inverter from 12V to 220V for an ambulance which will start on 1 Aug 2024. Now I have to go and buy another inverter. I will not recommend doing business with anybody who does not have an address where you can personally see them, even if they are rated highly on Hello Peter, as is the case with this business.
I logged a complaint on Hello Peter on 21 March 2023 to which Manicaa rep**** that I will be contacted within 48 hours. TO DAY NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER.
