I bought gift cards from the online, they let me make a payment of R3149,23 and disappeared with my money and no gift cards. Have all kind of stories on their support group and have 3 different numbers now from them, where they want me to send a selfie of me with my ID card, etc and you just don't hear from them again. The number they contact you from is on whatsup and it have their logo on their profile. You can't report because they just ignoring emails. They are a scam advertising products and stealing from people. People must be aware not to have the same experience because they are gone with my money.
I have been a client at Absa Bank since 1981, never had a bad name by them. I was retrenched in June 2018 and still battling to find work. Even that I have no Income I let Absa know that I was retrenched and are still unemployed and that I will still make payments as what I can afford to pay on my credit card as well as on my overdraft account. I have received emails from their lawyers that I have to make a full payment or they will take legal actions against me, I am paying monthly since I was retrenched to them every month, how can they blacklisted a person if you are making payments every month????? I am sure a lot of people have the same issues.
I have a business account with FNB for 5 years now. after the lockdown that took place because of the covid-19 epidemic, many businesses are struggling to get back on their feet and some have to close down. I am trading and struggling to get business in but still made monthly payments to them, even while no business was coming in and we couldn't trade because of the lockdown, but I made sure to make payments as I could. I have received an email from their Lawyers as well as phone calls that I must pay the amount in full or legal actions will be taken against my business, now my business account was also closed by them without informing me at all. I had to get in contact with the lawyers to inform them that my account is closed and in what account I can make payments now after I've been closed down. How can they put your name down as blacklisted and ruin a business name, if you are still trading and you are still making payments not to be blacklisted??? I am sure a lot of other business owners have the same problems.
I was insured with them and my vehicle was stolen on the 27th of May 2019 in Boksburg. I am from the Eastern Cape and come down to Johannesburg for business and my car get stolen, and now I am still here in Johannesburg and can only go back home after I could purchase another vehicle with the money paid out to me. I have found another vehicle and received it only over the weekend, can only do change of ownership in Eastern Cape where I lived. I need insurance before driving back to the Eastern Cape, and had to phone King Price this morning to get insured again. The consultant who help me with a quote was very helpful to get me insured again so that I can leave back to my home town this following Wednesday. I am very grateful for the quick response from King Price Insurance.
