I had an extremely disappointing experience with Spitfire Furniture and would not recommend them. I ordered a leather couch and a planter box in November 2025. After four months of waiting, repeated follow-ups, and numerous unanswered emails and phone calls, the couch was finally delivered in March 2026. Communication throughout this period was almost non-existent — I constantly had to chase them for updates. Due to the excessive delays and lack of communication, the company issued me a voucher as compensation, which I used to order additional planter boxes. Unfortunately, it has now been six months, and I have not received a single planter box — neither the original one I paid for nor the ones ordered using the voucher. I can’t even describe this as poor customer service, because there is no customer service at all. Emails go unanswered, and there is no proactive communication once payment has been made. Very disappointing experience overall. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before ordering from Spitfire Furniture.

I purchased a vehicle in early October through ABSA Finance and took out a warranty plan with MVIA, paying for it in full with cash. After the purchase, the deal was reversed just one week later because the car was a grey import. I immediately contacted MVIA to request a cancellation and refund, clearly explaining the situation and attaching all the necessary documentation to confirm the payment was made in cash, not financed. Since then, I’ve sent 16 emails and received no meaningful assistance. My initial request for a refund was made on October 17th, and yet MVIA continues to ignore my concerns. Instead of processing the refund directly, they claim the money was sent to ABSA (the finance house), and now it’s apparently up to me to prove to them that I paid the amount from my own bank account. This has been one of the most frustrating and infuriating experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Not only have I received zero help, but the emails I’ve received from MVIA have been extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The anonymous staff members refuse to sign their names, and their attitude towards me as a paying customer has been nothing short of insulting. All I want is the R26,700 I paid for a warranty on a car that was returned, and yet I am being treated like an idiot and forced to jump through unnecessary hoops to get what is rightfully mine. I will never deal with MVIA again, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I’m appalled by how they have handled this entire situation.
