I was hospitalised in June due to severe low iron. I needed urgent blood transfusion. While I was admitted, the gynaecologist that attended to me also suggested that an iron drip also gets administered. To my surprise, Discovery doesn’t want to pay. Firstly they requested motivation from hospital of which the doctor submitted, together with my results. Now they want proof that I have used iron supplements before and for how long. Like what madness is this? The doctor wouldn’t have suggested that medication if it what not necessary. My results were self explanatory. I went for further tests about 2-3 weeks ago and my iron levels are still low. Oral treatment was prescribed. Can you please make me understand this? After 18 years with Discovery and this is the treatment I get. I never requested this medication but my condition was compelling. Why are we paying medical aids when they are failing to process our claims in times of need🤷🏽♀️
This is the second time that i am posting about the bad service I received and still subjected to. My emails are not being attended to. It’s been a month now. I came to this platform because no one is responding to my emails.
I just want to extend my disappointment by the way MiWay is handling my 3rd party claim. I submitted all the required documents just before the end of May. I made a follow up 3 weeks after sending the documents and I was told that Kezia Cameron is handling my query. I subsequently sent an email to her and requested feedback and she continued to ignore my email. A day or 2 later I called in to speak to her and I was told that she is not at her workstation and they will ask her to call me. Few minutes later I receive an email from her acknowledging the receipt of my documents and further request documents that are already attached. I’ve been with MiWay before and I have never received such bad service. I still believe, what makes a bad company is the employees. I further rep**** to her email and pointed out the documents that she requested and re-attached them. Asked her to confirm if she can access them but she still hasn’t responded. This email was sent on Wednesday, the 18th. Can someone who is willing to work look into my query and advise. I am inconvenienced by driving a damaged car.
Most nonsensical customer service. We were asked to indicate things that we found not in order when we moved in. We reported about 14/15 things, only two things were attended to. Their whatever they call Nadene person, does not respond to e-mails or texts she simply ignores you. Now we are stuck with a stove whose oven doesn’t work, a house that wasn’t properly cleaned when we moved in, a leaking sink pipe, tiles that still have paint stains on them and a ceiling that has not been properly closed off. Trying to get ahold of this Nadene person or even escalating to Tommie doesn’t yield any results! One wonders whether they met out the same service to everyone or it is only towards certain people!!! Not even government departments are this bad when it comes to customer services. I would honestly not recommend these guys to anyone.
I’ve relocated and been trying to get assistance with reconnection in my new home. More than a month later, I am still told that they are getting an error message and therefore the system is unable to generate an order number. So technicians will not be coming through anytime soon. WTH is that and whose problem is it? How can a big company such as Vodacom have a system that they cannot resolve when they are getting error message? So now it will be a second month without WiFi while my account is being debited? I have spent over 3K this month only on data. Can somebody out there see my review and get back to me? I am definitely writing to the Ombudsman as well. Your service is ****. How crazy is it that the whole fibre Department is battling to resolve this🤷🏽♀️
Dotsure: The worst Insurance To cut the long story short, it's been a nightmare since the day of my claim. Their covers are pathetic, imagine receiving R4500 for a curtesy car, in this day and age! When I thought that was the end of it, they didn't replace one of the parts I pointed out when they assessed the damage of the car. They are even going to an extent of questioning if my car model comes standard with that part or not? I'm now taken from pillar to post. They are not responding to my emails. What level of nonsense is this? When they say cheap is expensive, they really mean this. I am so done with this company.
I don't even know where to begin. I am disgusted by the Insurance company called Dotsure. You send a complaint to their Ombudsman and nothing is done. No matter how desperate you are for cheaper rates, never go with this company, their service is pathetic. From the day of the claim, till today, I am still not happy with their service. I even hate the language they use when assisting you. How does an insurance advisor use words such as "Unfortunately" when you are going through the most. No empathy whatsoever. Mind you, I am on their so called VIP cover however I only received R4500 for courtesy car. That information does not appear anywhere on the Insurance schedule. They go and order parts that have an ETA of 21 working days and they don't assist you further with the money for courtesy car. They don't care about their clients need at all. I don't who to contact and what to do. I am expected to pay my car instalment, Insurance and still go hire a car with my own money. I've never seen such before.
Empty promises from Vodacom. After battling for months with vodavom, I thought I had finally received assistance. Two weeks later, still no communication or action. Was promised a call from Vodacom and an email confirming the outcome of the investigation and an updated statement. Please advice what the next step is because I am tired of endless calls and empty promises from Vodacom.
Words can never begin to describe how disappointing I am with Vodacom. After being a loyal customer with them for more than 20 years, I’m being treated like nothing. On the 11th of April, I received a call from Vodacom sales department selling me what I had believed was a fibre. The lady I spoke even told me how my current fibre line is coming to an end and what they are offering me is R100 cheaper. The naive me agreed since I work from home and cannot survive without Wi-Fi. She even went to an extent of saying my account will be debited with a pro rata at the end of the month and I questioned that because I had already paid for my fibre and she said she’ll ask the Accounts department to call me. On the 20th if I am not mistaken, my parcel arrived. To my surprise, it was a router and a SIM card. I called the following day after opening the box and asked if I can cancel this order and if they can collect the router and the lady I spoke to promised me that it will be done and she had noted it on the system. She even told me that the courier company might take longer to collect due to backlog. To make matters worse, my account was debited with an amount of R499 which I went ahead and reversed. That where the beginning of my nightmare started. My account was somehow flagged and then on the 25th of May the debit order didn’t go through. I kept on calling Vodacom to query the cancellation of the order and why the router hasn’t been collected. To my surprise, they cannot pick up anything from their side😭😭😭😭. Every time I call Vodacom, I’m being taken from pillar to post. I have asked for recordings, but they are not forthcoming.I was even asked to go to the nearest Voda shop and ask for a recording but I went on Monday in Woodlands and they couldn’t assist me. My line was then suspended and I went and paid my usual instalment as advised by Tebogo from collections as the other Department is still investigating the matter. My lines were then unlocked except from my fibre line. I am working from home so this means that it is the 3rd day without being productive. Can somebody please help me. I am so stressed and frustrated. I have a small baby that is being breastfed and hedoesn’t need this bad energy. I am begging you to assist me, please😭😭😭 This matter has been dragging since April.
