Good in store. Bad delivery
Absolute Pets online Absolute pets Cresta To get started I searched the web for an alternative to feline cuisine as it has become rare to find. I found 2 good brands, namely ultra cat and Lokuno. I saw that absolute Pets has both these brands available online and at a very good budget price. Online it shows approx R270 per 2kg bag of cat food for adults cats. After paying online and putting in my delivery address (delivery is R35 to my area, approx 5km from the store). I noticed that they gave me a discounted price on the products which was super. The head office in cape town called me to tell me that they don't have the ultra cat in stock and she said I can choose something else. I opted to choose 2 x lokuno 2kg bags as the refund process according to the online rules says up to 14days for refunds. I waited eagerly for my delivery. I received communication showing that the order is packed according to the app. And they sent me an sms with the name of the driver doing the delivery. After waiting and waiting there was no delivery. The status on the app showed your parcel has been returned. I emailed them and tried calling. They took some time to respond although they finally res2the following day saying that the driver canceled the delivery and they did not give a reason for the cancelation. I then got worried as I needed the food urgently. I went online to check the reviews and almost all were very bad when it came to deliveries. So I called them again and I told them I will rather collect the items as the delivery is not working out. They were helpful when I wanted to collect and they said they will refund my delivery cost which is yet to be received. I went to the Cresta store in Johannesburg to collect the order and it was smooth and no issues. I also bought some treats which were super cheap. The lady in store apologized for the inconvenience and said it won't happen again. I told her that I won't book delivery in future. My conclusion is that the delivery system doesn't work with them. So I'm my opinion don't book delivery rather select the collect in store option. But phone the store first to ensure they have stock of what you want to order. So a 3.5 or 4 rating out of 5 would be fair.

The Muslim sin city
Qurtuba Sandton Linbro Park review Easy to find on the Google maps. If you book online on qurtubahotelspa.com it's much cheaper. Try to book at least a couple of months in advance as the rooms get booked out very quickly. We booked the executive deluxe room which is situated near the farm area. When entering the main boom gates, there's no waiting time. It's easy to enter. The best part is the food and drinks. There's a variety of anti Israeli products. So no need to come with your own. Prices are crazy cheap. The place is filled with activities to do. So no need to look outside the venue. The restaurant food is brilliant and has a variety of cuisines for everyone. Prices are dead cheap. No need to order food elsewhere. However there was one issue with the restaurant staff, they were very unattentive. So that might frustrate you. Staff needs to be trained better. The reception area is very organized, very helpful and nice staff. Moses was exceptionally well spoken. Special thanks to him. You need to book your horse rides and archery at the reception area. It's best to leave your bags on your car when checking in as you won't know where your room is situated until you check in. Trust me this will save you the frustration. Wifi is free, however the wifi cannot pick up in certain areas of the resort. We could not pick up the wifi in our room. So think twice about booking rooms that side. We had to use our own mobile data. Activities - Padel is their number 1 activity. R50 per hour. Indoor and outdoor courts. Very busy and open until very late evenings. Good bats and equipment. Horse riding - they have 1 hour out rides for R270, they also have 10 min rides. And ponies for kids. Very well looked after horses. The out ride is walking only. There's no racing or running. Archery has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Good equipment. Table Tennis, pool table, Tata box, putt putt - keeps you entertained but equipment is damaged badly and needs serious attention. They still charge full price for using the damaged equipment. I'll edit this rating once the equipment is maintained or replaced. Putt putt area is a reasonable size. I saw mostly children using the area. Parking - there is ample parking space. Both under cover and open parking. We'll organized. Room service is nice as it's free delivery to your room. Restaurant operates until 10pm.final orders until 9:30pm. Chicken tikka leg with naan, chips, salad for R85. Feeds 2 people in my opinion and is very well priced. Succulent and great taste. Not spicy. Pizza is clay oven. Delicious, brilliant. R140 for a decent steak large pizza. Alfredo mushroom pasta - can also feed to people for about R90. Great taste and big portion. Room - very very big. Bar fridge, kettle, mugs, glasses, cutlery. No stove or kitchen. Huge bathroom with good shower head. Clean towels a few sets. 2 sets of white gowns very comfy. 2 sets of slippers that you keep. I felt that the slippers are slippery and I slid in the bathroom so be careful. Extra blanket. Arabic and an English Quran. Musallah and Qiblag direction marked on the ceiling. Salaah facilities for men and women opposite the reception area. The colorful glass decoration has the 6 star israeel symbol which put me off. Hopefully they can remove that. It's the yellow colour on the glass. Curtains and windows can be opened easily. Aircon works very well. You have to keep your room card in the slot to use the electricity of the room. So you can't charge your phone while you're out of the room. Lovely garden area walk ways by the rooms. Good for photos. King size bed. Antique furniture. Nice size tv with a reasonable amount of dstv channels. Gym and indoor pool Gym is the best. Great gym and separate closed off area for women if you want privacy. Free water downstairs. You must have your resort tag to use these facilities. You get the tags at the reception area when you check in. You can use the tags for both full days even if you only booked for 1 day. Truly a bonus. The indoor pool is big with showers and change rooms. However the pool is salty and smells horrible.your clothes become enfused in the smell. Id rather swim at the outdoor huge pool above the restaurant area. That pool is much cleaner. No smells and has privacy. Swimming towels are free just collet at the reception area. The hand soaps on the showers and rest rooms have a great smell. Better than any rest rooms I've been to. There is an outdoor kiddies pool next to the indoor pool with slides and jungle gym. Theres a nice huge and deep outdoor pool above the restaurant with recliners. No food allowed by the pool areas. Swim caps is a must. No diving. They ask for modest dress codes but it's not a must. So you will see some nakedness happening on the Padel courts and the pool. But it's not that much. It's enough to read a Dua or 2 and look away. I was a little disappointed that the Aadhaan is not loud. I would have expected to hear the Aadhaan either on my room or throughout the resort. The Islamic is atmosphere is important. The shop situated next to the outdoor Padel.very good prices similar to checkers. Get a 500ml Kingsley for about R10. Popcorn, slush, polar ice creams, snacks, meat from khans butcher frozen. Biltong, China fruit, chock sticks, gums, cigarettes etc. Very easy to walk from one area to the next. Farm area. Camels, bulls, goats, sheep, rabbits, donkeys and much more. A nice experience for the children and animal *****s. Wedding venues and a nice stallion for hire with a carriage. Overall an 8/10 from me, with room for improvement. Need more pool tables. More inclusive activities for the bookings. Better indications of room locations before checking in. Better trained waiters. I will visit Qurtuba more regularly. It's better than all the places I've been to in joburg. And my main reason is it's Halaal and ita like the Muslim sun city.

Xiaomi tv box 3rd Gen
Incredible connection Clearwater mall. I searched online for a xiaomi tv box 3rd Gen. I firstly walked into another store at the mall but they did not have stock. Then I remembered that incredible connection has stock of the item online.When I walked in they immediately helped me and had the product in store. I only had to wait for one customer on front of me and then I paid. The service was swift and efficient. I received a 1 year warranty on the product. The item works very well. I added a ups to my product from makro and this is going to save my box from damaging on the future. I can certainly say I have only good things to say and I'm glad I went in the shop. Then you for good service and mostly good working products.

Makro Strubens Valley - very bad online service and no delivery, no refund. Just lost approx R800
Makro orders online - very bad service. I ordered cat food from the Makro Strubens Valley in Roodepoort on the 3rd of January 2025. I paid online immediately and delivery said next day delivery on their system. The following day I receive a message saying that some items have been cancelled from my order. And note that these items were showing in stock, in store. After that, on the 6th of January 2025 the driver calls me at 17:49pm asking me for my address even though he has it. I still give it to him again. He immediately says to me that he can't find the place and he logs a ticket saying that he could not reach me. I called the Makro online call Centre to find out what's going on. Here I thought someone more professional would have handled the call, but instead the lady says to me that because I stay in a complex, I should not list my unit number in future. So I asked her then how would the driver know what unit to ask for at the boom gates. She further says that she can't check when the order will be delivered. On the 8th of January, this is where I took my hat off. I get an sms at 12:30pm saying that Ndivhuwo is en route to deliver your parcel. Later at 15:29pm I get an sms saying that my order has been delivered to me. To my surprise, I've been waiting at home and no delivery. I go up to the security, nothing has been delivered. I return to my apartment, call the Makro online Centre again. The person tells me that it shows delivered. Well done to makro. What makes it even nicer is they claim to have refunded me for the items that were cancelled but where's the refund delivered to? Plus I was dumb to go and order the expensive packs. Eish but januworry just got real

Florida, JHB, Goldman Nando's. The one you can trust
Nando's Florida, Johannesburg. Goldman street. Wow, wow, wow. I ordered a Full chicken last week and this is by far the best branch of Nando's you can trust. Quality is just one word that cannot even describe the way they make it. The taste, The moist chicken. The sauce, my word. Nando's might be over-priced. But when you eat from here, you forget about those hefty charges and you just melt away. Chicken shouldn't taste this good. Keep up all the good work Florida. I have been your biggest supporter and will remain.

Adega Norwood. The best quality taste, texture and best service by far. The Prawn pasta with huge Prawns is a big plus. The taste is really great. The Monday special of Prawns even greater. Living every experience with them every month. This month was just better than the last time and gets better with each visit. Love the new drinks. I appreciate the support for Palestine. I will always eat there and bring my family with. Shukran once again and may Allah bless you.

Taste, quality and top star
The best quality food that money can buy. Price meets quality here hands down. I would rather sit at adega any day of the week than spending less at a lower quality place. I visited the restaurant on the 27th May and in March this year. All I can say is outstanding. Best taste, best flavours and great service. You will never go wrong. Try there Prawn pasta my word how mouth watering. Amazing amazing amazing.

The best seafood place by far with great service.
The best quality food that money can buy. Price meets quality here hands down. I would rather sit at adega any day of the week than spending less at a lower quality place. I visited the restaurant on the 27th May and in March this year. All I can say is outstanding. Best taste, best flavours and great service. You will never go wrong. Sollys quality and quick service
I visited Sollys corner opposite the oriental Plaza last week. I ordered 2 x fish and chips, a steak toasted special and Russian roll special. If you are like me and you want quality and quick service when you are on the go, sollys will beat any take away. They are hands on all the time, hot oil and ready to cook items. The prices need to come down a little. I love this place. Also like the names of soccer teams for their meals. They have good amounts of seating areas inside. Well done sollys I will see you again this month.

Tasty , Large and extra chocolate
#BlackFriday Vida E Caffe located or should I say situated in Greenside that is attached to the Shell garage was and always is my best experience. We went to Purchase a Chocolate Frio from them Last week and the week before. The loyalty rewards program always keeps building up my balance and the staff always make the best Frio. The owners of the garage were so helpful and came to talk to us. The service was good and they always give us extra chocolate vida caffe wrapped ones. The fact that it is certified Halaal is the main reason we buy from them, Thank you and may Allah bless you guys.
