GFS - Pathetic and Unreliable ⚠️ WARNING: Issues with Temu & GFS Courier (Cape Town) ⚠️ I’m writing this to warn anyone waiting on a Temu package being handled by GFS Courier. After weeks of no movement and poor communication from Temu support, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went to the GFS warehouse listed on Google, only to find they had moved. According to the neighbors, I’m not the only one—plenty of people have been showing up there looking for their "missing" parcels. I eventually tracked down their new premises in Epping on Friday afternoon. The "new" premises is not marked or signposted. Google "The Kid Zone" in Epping. It is on Gunners Cir between Fisher and Grenville Ave. GFS is on the same premises. The setup was incredibly *****—it felt like a complete fly-by-night operation. I had to confront the "manager" in person and demand my package before they finally handed it over. My advice: If your tracking is stuck with GFS, don't wait for Temu support to help—their stance has been useless. Be prepared to do your own legwork if you actually want your items. Check the post or ask around for their "new" address if you’re heading out to find them. It’s unacceptable that Temu uses such unprofessional local partners. POOR POOR POOR SERVICE!! Will NEVER use them again. NO customer care. Empty promises, long waiting times, etc, etc! From office staff to "supervisors" and "managers"
I arrived on the 10 pm flight and was not accompanied to the car by any staff (they seemed rather in a hurry to lock up the office to go home). The car was full of scratches and a chipped windscreen - none of these were indicated on the checklist paper I was given. I took photos. The car's rearview mirror kept on falling off while on holiday. After returning the car I asked to be contacted by the manager of the OR Tambo branch. I am still waiting 3 days later.... I tried their "dedicated" WhatsApp number and sent numerous messages. NO reply?! I phoned but was told the manager had already clocked off and the office worker told me he will send the manager a message to phone me back asap... STILL nothing. Not very impressed with how Woodford OR Tambo branch is being run.
STOLEN ITEM FROM MY CAR!!! My 2015 Nissan Qashqai went for diagnostics on Monday 10/01/2022. After asking the workshop if it's ok to leave some personal items (windbreaker, 2 x Under Armour caps, and a sun hat) in the boot he assured me it's not a problem. After fetching the car that afternoon just before 17:00 I checked my boot when I got home. 1 x Under Armour cap was missing/stolen. I phoned the dealership the next morning at 07:00, 08:00, visited them at 09:15, phoned them again at 13:15, and then visited them again at 16:45. Just vague excuses and no one seemed to be too bothered. Gert and Fritz (both in charge of service and workshop) seemed they could care less. No one cares. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. No customer service AT ALL! Fritz phoned me on Wednesday 12/01/2022 at 11:36 telling me they still have to look at camera footage and that they have never had anything gone missing in their workshop. Basically calling me a liar. Saying stuff like "it's hearsay" and "it's my word against his" and "maybe I lost my cap at the beach" etc. This place is a joke 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Sending numerous inquiries online and via email to change my flight details - no reply after almost a week! Tried phoning too - after holding for 25min x 3 times I gave up. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME!!! Really poor service and very frustrating company to deal with...
I bought a Curves franchise fitness club through Aldes business brokers in May 2018 after quite a bit back and forth. Long story short - after all monies was paid i found out that the business figures were ficticious and business was running at a huge loss. I contacted Mbali who was the Aldes agent but her response was that she is just the agent and that i had to get answers from previous owner. She basically distanced herself from my problem and offered no help whatsoever! I tried getting answers from previous owner but no luck either. Point is : I bought through a business broker like Aldes in order to avoid scams like this and now there is no customer care after money and commissions are paid?! Extremely unhappy with their non care attitude
Stay away! Situated in Bergville, KZN. Poor sub standard workmanship!! Car was supposed to be spray painted. Paid monies upfront. Bill grew. Paid that too. When fetching my car i pointed faults out. Also cracked windscreen. Response was that i must prove it was not cracked before and that i cannot expect a new car paint job after bringing in an old f#$kup car..?! Really?? I own a 1954 Triumph motorbike and its paint job was done professionally a few year ago and it looks brand new! Owner Abrie's response was that he will not touch my car again and he became very aggresive and threatening towards me. I reported them to the Ombudaman months ago but no luck so far..
