Poor service, bad attitude. Werner came to my house to look at printer issues. Plugged in power & machine did not go on. Was told that there was a little power box machine. Checked with my supplier who was kind enough to give me the machine, and was told that no parts were removed from the machine. Werner said he will take it to his workshop to look at it. Later, he told me that he managed to get power into the machine and that one of the cables needs to be replaced. Price R850. Was told it will take about 2 weeks because he thinks that the supplier is getting it from outside the country. Contacted him 2 weeks later and he said that if i fix the machine now, it will just give me problems later. He said a client of his has the same machine for sale and wanted to know what was my budget. I said zero as my plan was to get my machine fixed. He said i was being sarcastic by saying i had zerobudget to buy another machine. When he told me this i completely lost my cool and got very vulgar. I asked him to bring my machine back and he said not before i pay him R650. I paid this amount and the printer was delivered to my house. I have repeated requested a quote and an invoice for monies paid and none has been forthcoming. **** artist, shyster, dishonest, fly by night? You be the judge.
Very poor service, consultants lack of product knowledge and then waiting for 2 weeks for a response after sending a cancellation notice for a policy that I did not want in the first instance. All i wanted was a quote. Consultants say they will call back to follow up but do not. I need to get this chapter closed asap. I do not want to be involved in a battle for a refund at month end & also affect my other debit orders.
I have been trying to register with this company since June 2024 but have been unsuccessful. Apparently they are still reviewing my references, for 3 months? Very unprofessional. Sheina & Mongezi, you have dropped the ball. I wonder how they handle the rest of their business.
Christine Govender was awesome from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly and was very professional. When she said she will call, she did so timeously. In addition I think i got an awesome insurance rate. So i am a happy chappie.
Part of our boundary wall collapsed during the severe storm that we had on the evening of 25 November 2021. I called Outsurance to register a claim. An assessor came out on Saturday 27 November 2021 to inspect the damage. After a few days i followed up but the advisor could not give me an update due to the report from the assessor not being received. I called back on a few occassions and expressed my frustration and still did not receive any updates. I received a call from Outsurance on 07 December 2021 asking if our was happy with the service! I told the consultant exactly how unhappy I was with the service. I was told one of the managers will call me to resolve this issue. Guess what? Still waiting! We have had claims in the past with Outsurance and they were handled very efficiently. Pity that their service now sucks big time.
My wife and I have been without full time jobs for the past two and a half years. During the time of our unemployment we fell into arrears for approximately R85 000.00 with our FNB bond. We took on whatever temporary employment we could get and begged and borrowed and finally brought our payments up to date by about May 2017. Shortly after this we realised that our bond repayment had been increased from R 13 000.00 to R17 000.00. When we enquired about this increase we were told that the increase was repayment of legal costs. At no time were we notified by the bank or their attorneys what the legal fees were or that it will be added onto our bond. We requested this information and we were absolutely shocked to receive invoices totalling +R141 000.00 in legal fees. We send a correspondence to the attorneys asking that these invoices be 'taxed'. We were informed by them on 20 October 2017 that the fees will be taxed and they will revert to us shortly thereafter. It is about 5 months and we have received no feedback regarding our request. During this time we fell into arrears again because of our employment situation for the amount of +R67 000.00. Five months ago I began some temporary work where I am currently still employed. We have reduced the arears to about R26 000.00. We owe about 2 instalments and yet we still receive threatening emails from FNB even though we make regular payments. Its understandable if it was a large sum but for this It seems terribly unfair. Their slogan of "how can we help you" seems a bit hollow to us. How can they expect their customers that fall into difficulty to come out of it if they are irresponsible enough to allow their attorneys to charge such exorbitant fees and create further difficulty for their customers? It will be interesting to see the feedback that from other FNB home loan customers that find themselves in this situation.
