The airport has lost my luggage and no one is attempting to assist in any way possible! Everyone from johannesburg to london to chicago are up in arms saying not my problem! No one can find my bag or give me a report number or any assistance! It is disgusting! Stranded in a foreign company with no clothes or anything and no one assisting to get this sorted! Absolutely disgusting!
This place use to be one of my favourite places to be! Which makes this so much harder to write. On Friday 08 October I had my pre-wedding shoot at Railways Cafe. Prior to the day I had made arrangements to do the shoot at 6am to which I was assured that the arrangements will be made for someone to open and that there will be an additional fee due to it being outside working hours. On Friday morning, we arrived at 6 am to a locked up business and no one around. After 30 minutes of screaming and banging on the gate and calling around, someone eventually opened up very rudely, as if we had now disturbed him. We then find out that he was not informed that we will be coming but since we are there we must make payment immediately because he will not be waiting for us to finish.RUDE! I then informed Railways via whatsapp because they were not answering their phone, to which no one has replied! It is now Tuesday, 13 October and still no word from them! It is absolutely disgusting!
My order was delivered on the wrong day and incomplete! I requested to be contacted by management to resolve the issue and instead was asked to send an email! Upon delivery they blamed the external company instead of taking on the blame themselves as it is their company after all! In regards to the missing item I was offered R100 customer wallet, which quite frankly basically just covers there delivery fee so I won't even be able to send through the missing item! This is utterly ridiculous how these companies are just getting away with this nonsense! Reading through the reviews as well , they do not even address the issues some people have stated on here. Just shows you how little they care about their clients!
After a twee week struggle with American Swiss to get my engangement ring resized, I finally got my ring back and immediately took it to Smith's Manufacturing Jewellers in Greenstone. They are friendly and extremely helpful. I received my quotation on the spot and I received my ring back the next day, resized, polished and perfect! They have honestly never let me down in the past and I will most definitely always go back to them for any jewellery needs!
If I had to describe this place I would use every single swear word known to man!! They are utterly useless in all sense! On 03 November 2020 I took in my engagement ring for a resizing. They informed me that I will be contacted in the next few days with a quote. On 11 November 2020 I went in to find out what is happening with my ring as I have not been contacted. To which they phoned the workshop and gave me a quote. With the quote being far out of my budget I declined the quote to which I was informed that my ring will be ready for collection the following day (12 November). Today I went in (13 November) to find out what is happening with my ring, just to find out that it is still in the workshop and I need to come through and collect it on Monday! The person assisting today, after me saying im coming to collect the ring, phoned the workshop to find out what the quote is!! I SAID IM COLLECTING! This is absolutely ridiculous! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SUPPORT THEM! They are useless and by the reviews I've seen on here it is very well known that they are incapable of delivering a service!
This is probably one of the best companies I have ever had the privilege to work with. Very professional and reliable. Quality is amazing!!!! They are also easy to work with and understood my every need! From Live Sound / Lighting / Staging / Dance Floors / Weddings I will definitely be making use of them a lot more in the future!
In December we bought a defy dishwasher and was entered into a draw to win a prize. The first 1000 entries could win a year supply of finish products which we qualified for. When we entered the competition, we also gave through our details for the finish products from which we received a response saying that the lady handling the project was on leave until the 5th of January. We then waited till the 5th and emailed again to find out what's happening. It is the 24th of January and we have had no reply. We entered the competition on the 30th of December. How can you confirm a client qualified for anything and then completely ignore them?? This is unaaceptable. No response. No reply. Weve complained directly to defy and had no response. Don't make promises you cant keep.
