Hello Peter Complaint: Poor Customer Service at Alpha Pharmacy – Protea Glen I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding the ongoing poor customer service at Alpha Pharmacy in Protea Glen. The service levels have deteriorated to a point where it has become extremely difficult to resolve even basic queries, and this has now been an unresolved issue for almost three months. Despite raising the same concern repeatedly, the staff continue to refuse to assist appropriately. They decline to provide an email address or contact number for submitting complaints, making the escalation process unnecessarily difficult. In particular, William and Phakama have demonstrated unprofessional behaviour on several occasions. When faced with routine questions or follow‑ups, they abruptly end calls instead of assisting or escalating the matter correctly. Hanging up on customers is unacceptable and reflects a lack of customer‑service training and professionalism. The core issue remains unresolved for the third month: The pharmacy refuses to submit an account to the correct and active medical aid, stating that they require authorisation from a manager before doing so. This has caused unnecessary delays and frustration, even though the correct medical aid details have already been provided multiple times. I am requesting that this matter be addressed urgently, and that the staff receive proper customer‑service training or refresher training, as the current level of service is far below what customers should expect from a healthcare provider. I hope Alpha Pharmacy management will treat this complaint with the seriousness it deserves and take corrective action.
Nompumelelo refused to sell me medication on my medical aid because I didn't have my ID.
Pic n Pay (Protea Glen mall) is now giving service similar to what you get at shoprite or Boxer store. On 2025/04/19 I went to Pic n Pay at Protea glen mall to buy myself a birthday cake to celebrate with my family, When I got to be next in line to pay The buzzer called me to till number 12 which had a line manager doing something but when I got to the till the line manager moved away, Immediately as the line manager moved the cashier at till 10 called the woman who was behind me in line and started to assist the lady while laughing at me. I then informed the cashier that instead of laughing at me she could have assisted me, At this point I was irritated and left the cake because I can simply use a different shop where I will be respected. As I was walking away I thought it would be better if I inform the store manager so I walked to the managers box by the intercom where I found 3 ladies conversating about something so I had to wait for them to finish talking As soo as they finished talking one of the ladies gave me a look and I continued to ask "Can I speak to the store manager before I place my complain on Hello peter" The lady gave me another look and said I was not being clear as to what I want so I repeated myself "Can I speak to the store manager before placing my complain on Hello peter" I received the same responds from this lady working for Pic n Pay saying that I was clear in what I want to do so I ended up leaving the store. THE TIME WILL SOON COME WHERE PIC N PAY FALLS TO THE GROUND BECAUSE OF THE TERABLE SERVICE WE RECEIVE AS CUSTOMERS. I am slowing getting used to buying my items from your competition and I must say the customer service at PIC N PAY is of substandard. I don't understand why does PIC N PAY employ people who don't understand what customer satisfaction is Please make sure that when giving induction to the new employees, you also give a refresher induction on customer service to the management team as well. POOREST OF SERVICES AT PIC N PAY PROTEA GLEN MALL this branch can be closed siyabonga.
I really don't understand the concept of being in a que to pay for my groceries then be in another que to show the security at the door my recipt to prove that I paid or what I have in the trolley. Pic n pay at protea Glen mall. Why does the Pic n pay at protea Glen mall force me to stand in a second que just to prove to the servirity that I have paid for my groceries. I am used to buying groceries at Pic n pay at Flora center and I am never harassed by a security at the door shouting at me because I didn't stand in a que to show him proof of payment or to prove that I didn't ***** anything. But even the manager at Pic n pay protea Glen confirms that I must prove my innocence before leaving the store with what I paid for, PEOPLE SHOULD START SHOPPING AT STORES THAT WILL NOT TREAT THEM LIKE ********S
Useless call center agents, useless chat service, useles retention department. I AM GOING TO JOIN THE COMPETITION. Subscription canceled. I called 4 times and used the chat service 3 times from this morning at 11:00. The time is now 16:34, and my issues are still not resolved
Never buying a phone at any Mr Price ever again. I bought my son a phone on Wednesday at Mr Price, Pritea Glen mall. Only to find out when we got home that the phone I bought for R1200 does not support some of the games and applications needed by my son, now my son stays in Protea Glen while I stay in Fleurhof. This means that I will be closer to Mr Price in Dobsonvill, and this is where I went to try and changed the phone for a more bigger phone Price wise so that the games and apps needed can be downloaded. To my Suprise I was told that I can't exchange the phone at the Dobsonvil branch, I must either wait for 7 days to make the exchange or drive to protea Glen as that is where I boiught the phone, now my question to Mr Price is " what happens if I buy a phone in Johannesburg then drive to Durban same time only to find out when I get to Durban that the phone I bought does not support the functions I need a phone to have. Another thing is the type of bad attitude one receives from Mr Price at dobsonvill mall its like everyone that comes in that store is a ***** and can't be trusted. No one at this store wears a name tag, I had to ask different people who the manager is and after waiting for 30 minutes without any help I had to go back home and work as I work from home from 09:00 to 17:00 which means by the time I get to protea Glen, Mr Price will be closed. I have no choice but to take the phone back and request for a refund then I will use my money at a store were customer service comes first instead of being seen as a ********
The level of disrespect I revived from a petrol attendant by the name of Bongiwe, walking away from the Pump and telling me that she will not pump petrol into my tank because I was parked in pump 6 and my cars petrol tank is on the other side meaning I had to park my car a bit forward to allow the pump to get to my tank. The manager by the name of Steve had to come out and pour the petrol because Bongiwe refused to do what she came to do fo the day. I wish I could say that I enjoy using the Shell Garage in florida Ondekars road next to Flora center but the service here is very poor and today I was shown that the manager is told by the petrol attendants what to do, I called the owner of the garage (Ebrahim) and he promised to call me back after sorting out the issue but I am still waiting for his responds. I personally would not hire Bongiwe for any job that deals with customers because she thinks that she is a gift to the world. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS FILLING STATION
For some reason, one has to always receive the poorest of customer service from (meadowpoint pick n pay). The cashiers are always in a bad mood, not great, and always give a descending or look down on the community as a whole. I went to buy bread and eggs this past Sunday 2024/02/18 and I went to the available till which I was the only customer at that till point and I was attended by Tsholo. I am not sure if she was not feeling well on that day but she had a very huge attitude, she does not greet you until you greet her. I needed to make a withdrawal of R500 then pay for my bread and eggs from the R500 then receive my change, for some reason the withdrawal part of things seem to irritate Tsholo and she told me that she does not have R500 in her till and I must go to another till, at this point I asked her to assist me find a till and she then stood up and started to ask around, meaning that had I not requested her to help me find a till she was going to continue sitting as I found her. She then pointed and said that till number 4 is open and I can go there, but as i got there I got confused because till number 4 had a long line of 5 or so people but at the same time till number 5 was empty and had two Pick n Pay workers one by the name Wendy, the ladies at till number 5 told me that they are busy with something else and the lady at till number 4 didn't even show any interest of noting my presence so i had to walk back to Tsholo and request for assistance yet again which she then shouted for Nyeleti at till number 4, by then Nyeleti was wrapping up her sale and the customer that she was attending to was about to put his groceries in the bags. The withdrawal I needed to make was via Capitec cash send, and I needed to now give Nyeleti the Capitec C-Number, but had locked its-self as a security protocol. So as I am in front of Nyeleti and unlocking my phone, she gave me a look as if I am wasting her time then suddenly started scanning the other customers items, so I had to then wait again until she was done serving that customer before I got the receive what I needed from the store, A 5 minutes task always turns into a 30 minutes nightmare at (meadowpoint pick n pay), can the line managers or store manager please look into the cashiers treatment towards the customers because I refuse to believe that such a big company would not want to give the best service to its customers. Thanking you in advance Abednigo (Nico) Singo
We just had I-Switch water pre-paid installed at the complex that I reside in, and every owner had to pay for the installation and devise. with the economy at a very bad state currently, I am having a bit of a financial constrain and I am currently owing I-Switch an amount for the installation of the pre-paid water meter. I have been owing I-switch for a few months and it happened that the amount I owe them is uploaded to my meter number, meaning that I have to pay what I owe before I can buy water for my apartment, eg, if I owe them R2000 for the installation and I need to buy water for R50, I will then have to make a purchase of R2050 to cover my arears amount and get my R50 water purchase. but on 2024/03/19 I ran out of water in my apartment and as I am working from home, I needed to have water at all times, I was blown away by the humanity of the agents at I-Switch when they understood that I ran out of water in the middle of the month, and even if I have an outstanding debt with them, they still allowed me to make a R20 water purchase to last me till the end of the month where I can make my payment. FOR THAT I WILL FOREVER SALUTE I-SWITCH. thank guys for being human.
