I settled my Truworths account in store on the 11th December 2024. I have been asking for a settlement letter ever since. Today I have been told that I still owe R626.58. I never bought anything since the settlement.
I’m waiting for a clearance letter after paying off my debts. They’re taking forever without acknowledging my emails and without any updates.
I have paid a settlement amount and the bank is giving me the run-around for the paid-letter. I’ve been sent from pillar to post. Please assist!
Never approach Vantage Debt Management Debt Counselling. They will not pay some of your debts and put you further into financial distress.
Auto and General Policy No: 558123959, I did not approve the debicheck because the sales person was supposed to call me back. I got a message that I was covered for third party payment only. An amount of R2099.47 was deducted by Auto and General on the 15th May 2025 by debit order. I called them to ask for a reversal as the policy deduction was not approved by myself yet due to the phone call that I was still expecting from them. Auto and General uses no-reply email only. It is not possible to email them. They use phone number 0861 60 01 24; www.autogen.co.za. I want a reversal of this policy as I ended up paying twice for the same cover. And instead they have been begging me and asking to lower the premium whereas I told them I do not want anything to do with them any longer.
I have a mobile contract with Telkom, cellphone number 0815595049. I have not been able to use the number for more than a year. Telkom blocked my number. Every month they load data and charge me for it. I called Telkom to highlight the matter. I stopped paying, then they handed my account over to Nu Debt. I settled the account. They have still blocked my nr but continue to charge for data every month. They keep referring me to the self help portal. The portal refers me back to the 081180 nr of sends a message that I will receive a call from their operator. It’s been 12 long months. They will bill me again soon as I’ve cleared the account. Then they will tell me to pay before they cancel. Their cancellations department don’t pick up the call when you press 3 for retentions and cancellations. Please help!
OUTsurance is very expensive and keeps deducting premiums after I have cancelled my policy with them. They don’t respond to my emails and continue deducting whereas I have opted for another insurance company. Please help.
