I had a problem with numerous AirsPops devices. I had complained to Airscream and their after sales service is excellent. I am most amazed that such customer service still exist Well done Airscream UK and the South African team.
An 87 year old lady received a Pick n Pay Christmas Hamper from a family member. This aged lady is om SASSA and the hamper was supposed to assist with her through Christmas. What an utter dissappointment for her and a disgrace. The hamper will not even feed her for 2 days!!! The bucket it came in is of more value to her!! WHO IS THE TARGET MARKET OF THESE HAMPERS??? Because they are NOT cheap. In it is "croceries" that are clearly unsaleable items and randomly selected with no thought for the under priviledged for who these hampers are bought!!! Explain to me how a family.of 5 can survive on such a hamper for more than a day. Are hungry children supposed to go to bed with only a cheap, chinese packet of popcorn and a Drink o' Pop sachet??? Pick n Pay you should be ashamed of yourself!!!! Companies buy these hampers for their blue collar workers, charity organizations buy them for the homeless!!! How on earth is a homeless person going to cook a packet of OLD chinese noodles when they have no access to hot water amenities??? It is clear that these "Crocery Hampers" are just orchestrated to get rid of unsaleable goods and no consciencioue thought has gone into them!! SHAME ON YOU PICK N PAY!!!
I bought a "parrot" cage from Takealot in August 2025. On arrival, I noticed that the cage was made of very thin wire. I have 2 Sun Conures and everyone that owns parrots know that you need a sturdy cage for them. Within 2 weeks, the wiring started breaking off at the welding points of the wiring. The workmanship is of very poor quality and posed a danger to my parrots. I advised Takealot that I want a full refund as their advertising is misleading. In one of the photos of the Takealot add, it showcases a Macaw sitting on the perch on the open top of the cage. This is clearly false advertising as anyone that has parrots, knows that a Macaw will bite right through the wiring of this "parrot" cage. I asked for a refund as I do not want a replacement of such a poor quality cage that I paid over R2000.00 for. But now Takealot first wants to play games with regards to referring to the supplier etc etc. This cahe is as I received it..... brand new!! They are quick to take your money, but not so quick to fix their poor quality!! BEWARE OF THE ADVERTISING OF TAKEALOT. ALL IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS!!
Twice I approached MLB Inc Cape Town for assistance. The first time for my employee exacerbating my PTSD, MDD and Agoraphobia, insisting that I be at the office when they were causing the mental breakdown. Mr Brivik declined to take the case although it was rock solid (as a labour relation specialist, I made sure of that before approaching MLB Inc) and eventually landed up negotiating my own settlement under NDA. One should ask yourself WHY an organisation would want to seal the details of the case under an NDA? The 2nd time I approached MLB Inc was for being sent home by a private clinic that sent me home from ER after 2 hours, only to find out when I went to another sister-clinic, I had 3 or 4 fractured spinal discs. I have been bed-ridden for more than a month now. I could have landed up a quadra- or even a paraplegic due to their negligence. I approached MLB Inc as they claim to be the best on their website. I completed their website form. I received a call from the JHB offices on Thursday, 2nd May, at which time i had to give a brief overview of the case and was told that they would be sending my case to CT for further assistance. I received a call on Monday, 6 May from their CT offices to schedule a Zoom meeting with Mr Brivik for 12:00, Tuesday, 7 May 2024 at 12:00. At this time they had no proper documentation or information as to the incident but not even half an hour later, I received a call from them to say that the Zoom meeting was cancelled and that Mr Brivik was in court, maybe Friday he would be available. I found this very strange but sent them all the documents I had at hand that they requested via e-mail AFTER cancelling our Zoom meeting. This morning I receive the following e-mail: "DATE: 07 MAY 2024 OUR REF: TB/al YOUR REF: RE: YOUR ENQUIRY Dear Ms Daniels It appears as if to spot the fact that the cracked vertebrae were initially must there were subsequently picked up and surgery performed. As a result, what could have been dire consequences were reverted. There does not appear to be any claim for damages associated with the misdiagnosis due to your prompt action and return to hospital. There are no additional medical or hospital expenses nor is there a loss of earning. As such the negligence is what we refer to as negligence in the air and we are unable to assist you. Tsvi Brivik" Besides the fact that I have no idea what is written in the first paragraph, I find the rest of the content a "cop-out". MLB Inc claims to work on a pro bono basis. So I have to pose the question whether my monthly income is not enough for a % payment to "fight" for, not to mention the pain and suffering and the loss of income until I am mobile again? I wont be approaching MLB Inc after these two incidents as I am of the opinion that if you dont earn millions to make the % payment worth it, you will never get assistance from MLB Inc. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
On the 16th April 2024, I went to Medi-Clinic Durbanville ER with excrutiating back pain. I explained to them that I have severe back pain in the kidney area. I was by now walking with a cane to support myself from the pain. They then stuck me with needles 4 times before finally finding a vein to put up a drip. The first 3 times was a trainee nurse, the 4th time was a professional nurse. They took a urine sample, gave me pain, anti-inflammatory meds and antibiotics intravenously whilst waiting for the blood test results. Upon receiving the blood test results, they gave me a script for pain, anti-inflammatory and antibiotics and sent me home. By the 19th April 2024, the pain had escalated to where I was unable to walk unassisted, stand, sit or lay down. My Mental wellness specialist told me to go straight to Cape Gate Medi-Clinic. Cape Gate did the same as Durbanville upon check-in at the ER, but when the pain did not subside after the intravenous medication, the doctor (Dr Bell) immediately booked me for a CT scan. The CT scan showed that I had fractured vertabrae. Cape Gate immediately admitted me and the surgeon booked me for an MRI. The MRI showed that I had a fractured Thoracic discs, T6 to T8 and an acute fracture on the T11 disc. I could not believe my ears. Durbanville Medi-Clinic could not have cared less to investigate the continued pain and sent me home. The doctor was curt and you could see that she could not have cared less to further investigate the cause of the pain I was suffering from. The only "light" at Durbanville Medi-Clinic was the gentleman who checked me into the ER. He was curteous and very respectful but the rest of the staff and their care is a disgrace to the medical profession. Durbanville Medi-Clinic.... You suck!!! Cape Gate Medi-Clinic, in stark contrast, was amazing. Their staff was effective, efficient and very caring, ensuring my comfortability and checking on me regularly. The doctor was absolutely a joy to work with. He took no chances and sent me for a CT scan that picked up the fractures. This is the type of care and treatment one would expect from private mecical care. Cape Gate Medi-Clinic.... YOU ROCK!!

I reported a **** on my account, which went into a Capitec Business account of the ****mer, on 30 January 2023 to the Capitec ***** Division via telephone and received a reference number. On 31 January 2024 I did the requested affidavit (lengthy, in detail with screenshots etc) and opened a police case for a case number and sent the documents on the same day. Two weeks later I follow-up and they claim to not have received the required documents. I forwarded the very same e-mail of the 31st January 2024. Soon after, I received an SMS that stated that they were awaiting the response from the other bank to which my money was *****ulently transferred. I kept on following up and to my dismay, no one could tell me what was going on but to say "its being investigated". The final time I followed up I was told that the ****mers account was empty and my case was closed. At no time did Capitec make contact with me, bar the 1 sms that actually means nothing, to keep me posted as to their investigation and their findings. Capitec has been my preferred banking partner for many years. But this is unacceptable! Closing my **** and ***** report without communication and me sitting like a fool and thinking they have professionals that will be able to retrieve my money. But no, quite the opposite! Case closed! As a disabled person, those funds were my livelihood! If I was a millionaire would I have received the same treatment? Disgusted is the only word that comes to mind!!
Finwell is a company that offers to assist you to become debt free. They tell you they will investigate the accounts, negotiate on your behalf with your creditors and advise which accounts are eligible for subscriptions (febt that could be written off). Within 5 minutes I had a debi check on my account for R685.00 and R2000.00 (which I did not agree to). How in 5 minutes did you investigate my accounts, negotiated and checked for prescriptions??? I told them explicitly that if any business is to be done with them, it can only be done at the end of March when budgets for all SAcans pick up. Yet the debi checks is dated for THIS MONTH!! These are con artists that primise the sun, moon and stars and does NOTHING of the promised negotiation or subscriptions. i DID NOT PUT PEN TO PAPER IN ANY AGREEMENT WITH THEM!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!
Hotmart advertises as Blue Diamond and posts that yiou are nr 465 and have been chosen for their program to make money on liking YouTubes, Tiktoks and Instagram content creators for a fee, Work from home they advertise. But when you pay the joining fee of R500.69, you are invoiced by Hotmart via Debi Check and they immediately take the money. Then Blue Diamond sends you a link that takes you to a WORDPRESS website that wants to teach you how to use Wordpress. When you try and contact anyone at Hotmart to advise that that is not what you signed up for, you receive a copy and pasted e-mail, until such time that your refund request has expired. They are ****mers and even after they promised that they will see what they can do about my refund, they have all "died" and still I have no response after a month. These are ****mers who like to advertise on FB.....Pls Pls Pls do not fall for this as I did. Once they take your money, its gone and you sit with a WordPress lesson which is complete false advertising.'There is no commission for subscribing to YouTube channels etc etc.
