My journey with Canvas and More goes back to May 2017. As a professional photographer I was invesigating the options to print my photographs for exhibitions. The cost of printing on various paper media proved exhorbitant, especially for resale. I placed my first order and was so impressed with the quality and service that I have since placed close on 20 orders since then.. Covid 19 has limited my selling opportunities, but I am hopeful that as we pull out of the pandemic, more shows and exhibitions will re-open and I will ne making more use of Canvas and More. The company does not have the decency of responding to queries regarding your consignment. Their tracking system sucks big time. Frustrating waiting for a parcel delivery As someone who is not always at home and relies on tracking systems to have an indication as to when I can expect a delivery, I found the tracking of a parcel through this comany a nightmare. The parcel was twice in transit between Durban and Richards Bay. once on Friday,13 August at 9.44am and then again on Saturday 14 August at 2.41pm. It was then received in Richards Bay on Saturday, 14 August at 4.43am and was placed on a courier vehicle at 6.51am on Monday, 16 August. The parcel was then received in Richards Bay on Monday, 16 August at 10.18am. No further tracking available, Parcel did eventually arrive at around 3pm on Monday, 16 August.
Scgeduled dlivery for today before 5pm. Cancelled other arrangements and waited the whole day for the delivery. At 4.30pm get a message to say no one was available to receive the parcel. Not only is this a lie, but is totally unaccecptable. Not what I would expect from an on-line company.
Ordered a gift online on Friday and saw delivery would take place on Wednesday 23 December. Was glad to see it would arrive befpre Chtistmas. Did the order and received an SMS that delivery would be on Monday 21 December before 5pm. Was sceptical, but waited for the hoot at the gate. Parcel delivered ar 4.45pm with 15 minutes to spare. Being a rural destination, was most impresed. Well done to all involved.
The old Eshowe Mall has been converted into an impressive modern shopping cntre and rebranded The Atrium, Eshowe. New tenants have moved in despite the Lockdown and this is a testimony of their confidence in the new development. A much larger Clicks, revamped Eshowe Mall Pharmacy and Pick n Pay are all welcome improvements. Pedro's Chicken is on of the new tenets.
I have used this company for three orders over the last month. On all three occasions, the service and quality of the goods supplied has been of a high quality. They also kept me informed of the prgress of the orders which is very helpful when having to arrange for someone being at the delivery address to receive the goods.
Once again I have received my latest consignment of nine canvas prints from Canvas and More. Three were for a customer of mine and the client was thrilled with the results and have indicated that she will bring more for printing. The six prints for myself will be going on sale at a pop-up shop at the end of the month.
Beware of this company. According to Ania of DELIVER YOUR PARCEL (PTY) LTD they do not operate over public holidays. A consignment sent on 22 September (2 days before the Heritage Day holiday) could not reach Durban due to the public holiday. They say and I quote Canvas and More reprsentative Midge "Ania just called me. Because of the public holiday your order should have arrived in Durban today (Friday), but will now be delivered on Monday or Tuesday." Absolutely disgusting service. Also DELIVER YOUR PARCEL (PTY) LTD website tracking says my parcel is "DELIVERED TO NOT ON SYSTEM 2020-09-22 00:00". This is the date it should have left Cape Town.
Having placed over 10 orders with the company, I find them as a most reliable printing company. Issues experienced are speedily resolved. The quality and delivery experience is great. Will defiitely continue using them.
#SupportLocal The company was responsible for a recent order from a canvas printing company in Cape Town. The whole process was seamless. From the notification from when the parcel was collected to delivery. The driver and his assistant who delivered the parcel to my house was also friendly and definitely are an asset to the company. Well done guys, keep up the good work!
