We stayed 5 nights, the commonly called midweek. From booking to leaving on Friday 17 April 2026, it was only a pleasure. The caravan stands are considerably larger than usual. All stands are brick paved with a neat built up place for the braai and the waste bins, each stand with its own 220V db and tap. The whole facility speaks of pride in maintenance and care. The undercover heated swimming pool is the best we ever saw.
I am waiting for more that two months for an appointment with a senior manager at Netstar's head office. I have been to the Netstar's head office twice in 2025 without any joy.
This is the third time that I took one of my vehicles to 4JsAuto. Friendly, no-nonsense, quality service is my experience. The workshop is clean and the owner is hands-on with advice to any walk-in customer. The price I paid is spot-on for the work being done and the parts used. I shall definitely go back to 4JsAuto.

I am a client of Dischem, no problem with their service or staff. When I signed up for a Dischem card I did not agree to be pestered with Dischem with SMS, WhatsApp or email promotional messages. On four occasions I responded to the messages by unsubscribing/Opt out. However, the messages still come like clock-work. The latest from number+279600003000017. All I am asking is that you honor my choice and privacy, there is legislation in this regard.
I went to the Total Energies garage, corner of Veld- and Vlei Streets, Kempton Park to purchase a bag of Charcoal. The price on the shelf indicated R129.00 but when the cashier scanned the barcode the price changed to R189.00. I indicated the discrepancy to the cashier, however, she just dismissed it. I returned the bag to the shelf to reassure myself of the discrepancy. As far as I know - the price displayed is the price you pay.
We camped at Klein Paradys Guest Farm from 30 March 2025 to 6 April 2025. Everything was just perfect, from the stand, the ablution facilities, shop, covered heated swimming pool, to the walking trails. The owner/manager has his hand on the resort, the whole day and every day he is on his quad bike managing. This is why the resort is well maintained and a pleasure to be camping at Klein Paradys for 32 years.
I made an enquiry to King Price for a quote on my vehicles. The sales person, Lloyd Ramurundo, asked all the details, gathering personal information. He quoted me a figure for the said insurance and I requested the quotation to be emailed to me, however, he insisted to know what I currently pay for insurance and when I refused to divulge the information he insulted me. I reported the matter to the manager and demanded that al my personal details be deleted for King Price's systems and that I be notified of the action in writing. No reply from King Price. King Price is not worth the time of day.
I made an online booking at the Col'cacchio restaurant in Durbanville. Got a message from them that a representative would contact me shortly. 24 hours later and no communication at all. Went to Kapstadt Brauhaus restaurant and had an pleasant experience
