Imperial Ford And Mazda

Imperial Ford - Cape Town
To whom it may concern I would like to express my experience with Imperial Ford Cape Town. I have always serviced my car by the dealership. Even now, with my car being out of a motor plan, Imperial Ford was my number one in servicing my car. (Ford Focus TDCI 2.0 - 2007) Now that my car is getting a bit older and the economic conditions not getting better. I have decided to keep my car for longer to save money. Because I should tighten my belt in these tough times. I have recently report two issues to the Service Consultant for a repair on my car. One was an oil leak and the other a rattling noise coming for the engine bay. The Service consultant explain to me that they would investigate and provide a quote for the repairs. A quote was given and I excepted. The service consultant communicated to me that they would need to order the parts because they don’t have it in stock. Three days later the parts have arrived and my vehicle was booked in. After the “repairs” was completed and my vehicle returned the rattling noise and oil leak was still there. I have then decided to raise my concern to the dealership manager. The car was re-booked in and after he personally inspected the car he managed to find the rattling noise within literally 30seconds. I communicated to him verbally saying that I would like a refund the unnecessary parts fitted on my vehicle and I had to pay labour. Plus, my oil leak is still there. The Branch manager communicated to me that a steam clean to the engine would need to be required to find the oil leak and They don’t offer the service. Which is very contradictory because a quote was given to me to repair the oil leak and engine bay noise. I then agreed with the manager that the imperial would take my car to Auto Amor for a steam clean and I will carry the cost. A few hours later I received a call from the Service consultant saying that Auto Amor does not do steam-clean of engines anymore because of water restrictions. Now I am between a rock and a car place. What should I do? The service consultant communicated to me that they will get another quote to repair the oil leak. Once again, I agreed. A couple of hours later I received a quote of R26 496.54 to repair a gentle oil leak on my car. Which I was shocked and amazed. I then replied via e-mail to reject the quote of course because the repair does not justify the repair. I Personally feel that does quote is a nice way of tuning me away and not assisting me with my issue. I live in a complex where my car is parked on common property. I cannot afford to have an oil leak in my parking bay because the Body Corporate have already added charges to my levy account for leaking oil. Desperately seeking assistance to this complaint Kind Regards Mario

Ripping of owners

I've received an e-mail with a qoute from Merville Property administrators w.r.t my number on my front door which is not in spec. I've communicated with them numerous of times to tell me what is wrong with my number on my doorbecause it's it clearly visible on my door at the time. They just say that my number is not in spec with NO explaination further.

They then e-mailed me a quotation on the replacement of my number on my unit front door.

They have qouted me R176, cost for the new number on my front door Plus R500 labour.

I then ask them where did come up with the R500 labour because my 10 year old niece can replace it herself. I had no reply back from the Managing agent regarding this matter. They then added this to my levy account without my permission.

I would never recommend Merville Propery administators to anyone. There service is poor, they suffer a serious lack of communiction and ripping of owners for a quick buck.
