This is the most disgusting trust I have ever had to work with. All communication channels do not work and they so not bother to reply to emails of inquiry. I have been waiting for the verdict for a requested trust advance for 4 months now from my daughter's late father's funds. And this is for a child's school registration fee that that was due on the first quarter of the year. I honestly think people employed by eskom should seek alternatives when it comes to reserving funds as EPPF does not prioritise their children upon their departure. What makes me even more angry is that these are the child's rightful funds and Eskom is not doing us a favour by providing. I am at the point where I will escalate this further because this is so exhausting. You would swear they service personal needs with deceased employees' monies. Truly disgusting.
Have not had any issues with debt busters until today. My debit date is month end and these people took money that is meant for something else out of my account today. So my kids must suffer until month end when I get paid because debt busters cannot stick to the agreed payment date? You will not see another payment from me. That debt review process can be considered cancelled.
Secure chat wouldn't assist, and the explanation given doesn't make any sense so this is my last resort before I consider just ditching this entire bank. Fnb seems to make ut a habit ensuring that my account is always in a minus unnecessarily just to mame a quick buck. I was charges R200 out of the blue because apparently fnb processed a payment while I didn't not have money in my account. This didn't make sense to me as the funds were immediately reserved when the purchase was made, regardless of when merchant processing takes place. I would like a reversal of the charge placed on my account!
Just had the most exhausting secure chat. Fnb keeps digging a hole in my account even when I'm trying to avoid going to the next payday in a negative. There is a new charge this month "payments bundle fee" that has never been there before to the value of R140. No one can explain what it is for and I want ir removed. Why would I be charged for using my account exactly how I'm expected to use it? What is the account fee for if I must pay so much just to make payments? Where is this charge communicated?? You guys just be charging anything you can. I pay way to much in fees on my premier account and honestly I cannot do this every month anymore. Last month my account was in a -590 in just charges, with some not even making sense but I did not address it and told myself I'll keep account clean and see this month. Now fnb came back again with brand new charges. I need these reversed. Payshap is free, and I hardly use immediate payments as they cost a lot. So where the hell is this payments bundle fee coming from? Your agent couldn't answer or break it down meaning it is *****. I must go through each item on my statement now because I cannot trust my own bank. I'm definitely shifting my salary to my other bank this month. Fnb has ill practices. Sies!
I'm at Tsolo Boxer Superstore and I've never been so appalled. I think people in rural towns get the worst services probably because they are believed to not be deserving of quality service and the fact that it is assumed they don't know their rights. Been standing at the kiosk to withdraw R900 and I'm told all tills at the entire store cannot assist with a simple std bank voucher for R900, the WHOLE STORE does not have R900. Now I'm standing here like a fool because there are no ATMs around and I need money. Your store is useless to say the least!!!!
I just wanted to show gratitude for how a query I had was swiftly handled and sorted out after having experienced multiple issues and inconveniences. There are 2 specific ladies I want to show appreciation to and that is my building manager Makopi (Vuja De), as well as Nonkuleko Manqele (Office) who have been amazing.
Money has disappeared from my FNB account and I don't seem to be getting any assistance. I deposited money into my trading account on Sunday (24/11) using my card, then withdrew the same funds from my trading account into my FNB account on Monday 25/11 and it was received as a "reversal of goods purchased" yesterday 26/11. This morning I woke up to the same transaction debited again and no one at FNB seems to know where the money went as I did not process nor approve the recent transaction. I keep being told funds were reserved initially and only went through yesterday and that only one transaction shows but my in-contact says a different story. I was charged and on the 24th (funds reserved) and was charged again this morning for the same payment. I even made 2 purchases after 6pm yesterday and they both reflect the correct balance until this morning. I want my money back in my account. I want FNB to fix this or I'm seriously leaving this time around. I have had far too many unpleasant experiences with FNB.
This review has nothing to do with Ithemba as a whole as I have experienced (and still experiencing terrible service in ky place of residence) but it is rather to show appreciation to Nonkululeko Manqele who has been outstanding and consistent in assisting me with resolving some of the issues experienced. Thank you sisi. She should really get a raise!
I really try not to complain but sometimes it's just too much with you all. I submitted a ticket to try and resolve this issue privately but the ticket was closed with no resolution. Here's my complaint. I started staying at VujaDe 1st March 2024. During application stage I had been assisted with a quote for bachelor M (unit 512) as indicated in attachment and had an agreement to pay and move in month end Feb 24. After payment was made the assisting agent then told me my unit was taken and there were no more bachelors remaining for the price I had budgeted for and was forced to move into bachelor M balcony which is significantly higher in price. Because ithemba already had my money and I was desperate to move in, I had to top up again and pay for the current unit, which I am apparently stuck with. On multiple occasions I would ask the building manager to give me first preference when someone indicates that they are moving out of any available cheaper apartments but to date I have not received any feedback even though I would often see multiple empty apartments. I have subsequently defaulted on rental payments but do try to keep up with my payments every last day of the month. I just felt I needed to give the background of this situation. As per my lease agreement, Ithemba is entitled to charge me interest on every late rental, which is acceptable and understandable and is not being disputed. What does bother me, however, is the fact that I have only had wifi for one week since moving in here and it has never worked again despite being reported. It has come to light that this was the case because of late rental. Fine, maybe I can take that. A major concern now, which I need clarity on, is the fact that my unit has not had electricity for the past 2 weeks. I again asked about this and was told my electricity would be restored but till today there has been nothing and you can imagine the inconvenience. What I would like to understand, before I make the decision to submit notice to vacate (if this cannot be resolved), is whether this is even legal as this is not stipulated anywhere on my least agreement.
7th of March today and nobody from Ithemba has gotten back to me. I still don't have a lease, no fingerprint access and no wifi ( which is a contractual benefit I'm supposed to get). You guys have disgusting customer care! I will keep rating you guys 1 until somebody gets this resolved. I don't understand how I was forced to pay in full with no lease agreement signed to protect myself from ****mers such as yourselves. If the digital version of the lease is such an issue, why can't I sign the damn hardcopy??? What's so difficult?? And who will compensate me for being short-changed on services I'm supposed to be receiving as I technically paid for them????? Nisile nina!!
