I've been receiving messages saying I owe a traffic fine in Polokwane and I've never been in that place in my life and the car on that Pic is not ever mine even the license plate it's not mine, first it was a messages saying I owe a Limpopo municipality and this, when I try to talk them they say I should go to Polokwane magistrate court to dispute.

I recently made use of payCity and their License Disk Renewal offering. From the email I received notifying me of the service to payment took just under 5 minutes. I was able to renew all my licenses quickly and easily. I received my Licenses 4 days later delivered to my home. No queues, no taking the day off work, no hassle. Very happy with the speed and convenience. I will definitely make use of them again.

To the PayCity Management Team, I am writing this out of sheer frustration regarding multiple traffic fine payments made through your platform that have not been allocated to the relevant authorities.Despite having paid these fines in via PayCity, they still appear as "outstanding" on official systems. This has left me in a precarious legal position, as I am now uncertain of my actual standing regarding my driving record and potential enforcement actions. The core issues are as follows:Non-Allocation: Funds have been paid from my account, but the status of the fines remains unchanged.Poor Customer Support: Every time I attempt to resolve this through your help desk, I am "sent around" with no definitive answers or proof of transfer to the municipality.Lack of Transparency: I have received no confirmation that these payments have been successfully reconciled with the traffic department.I have acted in good faith by using your service to settle my debts. It is unacceptable that I am now forced to do the administrative legwork to find my own money.Required Action:Provide immediate Proof of Payment or reconciliation certificates for all fines paid through my profile.Confirm that these payments have been pushed to the respective municipal databases.A direct contact person to resolve this without further runaround.I look forward to your prompt response before I escalate this matter to the National Consumer Commission. Regards Lopang [email protected]

The fine does not appear on the official FNB PayFine system when searched with my ID number and the infringement number. This raises concerns about its validity. The alleged speed of 135 km/h is disputed. The road in question is not suitable for such speeds due to bumps and conditions that make it effectively a slow lane. I question the accuracy and calibration of the speed camera. I never drive more than 80km in that lane. The fine was issued approximately four months after the alleged incident (November to March), which undermines reliability. Additionally, the notice does not indicate the exact time of the alleged infringement, which is a critical omission. The email address provided for lodging disputes is outdated and does not work, as it still refers to old contact details from 2024. This creates unnecessary difficulty for motorists and reflects poorly on the administration of the system.

They sent me a ticket that does not belong to me, the car in the ticket is a toyota corrola and mine is a Hilux, the plates are not for my car they made an error while on the picture I can see it. Why can't they verify their information with the plated and see if it matches car, when I send them an email to resolve they tell me I need to Magistrate Court Graaff-Reinet. I don't even know that place. They not taking initiative to resolve their issues, the number provided is not even working. Useless services which I believe they are getting commission for all this incompetence

These guys want to be the middleman for convenience but it's only a one way street, they cant even send information back to the municipality that issued the fine to tell them they have issued the fine to the wrong person. They can't even give you the correct information of the municipality that issued the fine so that you can contact them directly. I don't even own a car and got issued a fine for speeding during work hours in some town 800km away

About month after paying a fine on another portal, I received both a reminder to pay the fine as well as a warning that legal action was about to be taken against me. I phoned my portal who 'escalated' the processing citing poor performance at the govt department (Natis had cleared the infringement very soon after paying). On going to paycity soon after 'escalating' through my portal, (same day as the threat of legal action arrived via SMS) the fine was shown as fully paid. Better processing before sending SMS, co-ordination (B2B) between portals and B2Govt. Anyone using a portal seervice needs to check with at least two other agencies and their own records of payments before making payment. The process is absolutely open to abuse, let the buyer beware

I wish to raise a concern regarding the issuing of traffic fines. My understanding inow is that PayCity does not generate fines but merely reflects those issued by the relevant traffic departments. However, my concern is that traffic departments are able to load fines onto the system without proper supporting documentation. This has resulted in significant inconvenience on my part. I was required to travel to the local traffic department to resolve the matter, which led to unnecessary travel expenses and loss of time. Upon visiting the traffic department, the fine in question was confirmed to be invalid and was cancelled immediately, further highlighting that it should not have been issued or loaded onto the system in the first place. I kindly request that measures be put in place to ensure that all fines loaded are supported by valid source documentation to prevent similar occurrences in future. Your attention to this matter will be appreciated.
