Pam Golding Properties
Based on recent customer reviews, Pam Golding Properties receives sharply divided feedback across its branches. Customers consistently praise individual agents who go the extra mile, describing them as professional, warm, and genuinely supportive throughout the buying journey, particularly for first-time and international buyers. However, a recurring theme involves serious concerns around poor communication, unresolved post-sale issues, undisclosed property defects, disputed deposits, and questionable handling of mandates and rental matters. Reviewers frequently note that experiences hinge heavily on the specific agent and branch rather than consistent brand standards.

I would give them a zero if one could! Don't sell you house with them they're interested in their commission only selling you the seller short with endless delay and no accountability - still taking their commission mind you! This is the second catastrophic house deal with them!

We decided to buy a property in Herm****, moving from the UK. The property was listed with Pam Golding and our agent was Allan Lotter. Being complete novices with buying property in South Africa, it was a daunting prospect but Allan took us through every step, and was there whenever we needed him, including after the transaction was complete. He made the whole process much more straightforward for us and I would definitely use him again.

The house we purchased was not explained or as described as sold. The transfer of the ownership was held up pending the NHBRC certificate. That I was told was produced and the transfer completed and I instructed the office on numerous occasions to forward it to my insurance comoany and myself. This never happened to date making the house not able to be insured. It has been vandalised all copper and wiring water geysers and piping stripped, all copper removed. Pam Golding Dullstroom is aware of this issue but doers nothing. The agent Fraser ignors the severity of the situation. This issue needs to be resolved. Mislead in almost every way by Pam Golding. Transfer was slow pending NHBRC certificate, Agent confirmed it was obtained. Branch was instructed to forward it to my insurance company. To date no certificate, house not able to be insured, was vandalised and then structural issues like no roof insulation became clear, so I was **** to. They should and may be sued to resolve this. An utter disgrace. Second complaint this time and response to my first was "noted". I can assure you this time they will be paying attention.... Shame on you Pam Golding Dullstroom. Rrst assured I am not going away. Keith@Erica Ashman

The representative was totally dishonest from inception of the sale. She totally misleaded the wife and myself. There was so much of non factual information she communicated and because us being 1st time buyers were taken for a ride. I would not want anyone to go through the experience this Agent had given us through out the entire process. The best part is that she never put anything in correspondence cause she definitely would of known it will come back to bite her. There is so much I would like to share but that finer details can be addressed of this platform as I know there will be no gain on my side but I just don't want this treatment to be carried over to another Buyer. Title: Property Advertised Without Valid Mandate – No Resolution I am lodging a formal public complaint regarding Pam Golding Properties Bloemfontein for continuing to market my property without a valid mandate. Timeline of events: • 16 August 2025 – Sole mandate signed for a period of one month • 16 September 2025 – Mandate expired • 27 November 2025 – Written instruction sent to remove the property from their books • 29 November 2025 – Follow-up confirmation that the property is no longer on the market Despite this, the property remains actively advertised on multiple platforms, including: - Pam Golding website - Private Property - Property24 The Pam Golding marketing board also remained outside my property until January 2026, when I removed it myself. I have escalated this matter: - To Pam Golding Head Office (acknowledged, no resolution) - Attempted submission to the PPRA (emails rejected by their mail system) Key concern: I am unaware of any valid mandate authorising Pam Golding Properties to continue marketing my property. This raises serious concerns regarding: - Misrepresentation of a property listing - Marketing without instruction or authority I formally request: 1. Immediate removal of all listings across all platforms 2. Written confirmation of removal 3. Documentary proof of any alleged valid mandate Failing this, I will continue formal escalation through regulatory channels. — William Janse van Rensburg

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from **Pam Golding Properties Malmesbury. On Wednesday, 4 March, I contacted an agent regarding a flat that was advertised as available. After not receiving a response during the morning, I tried calling but my call was not answered. At 11:22 the agent responded that she was in a meeting, which I acknowledged. Unfortunately, that was the last communication I received. There was absolutely no follow-up or further communication from the agent regarding the flat. Then on Friday I received an email informing me that the flat had already been rented out. This level of service is extremely unprofessional. When a potential tenant shows interest, basic courtesy would be to follow up or at least keep the person informed. The lack of communication and poor client service from this office is very disappointing and does not reflect the level of professionalism one would expect from a well-known company like **Pam Golding Properties.
