Done a contract 2 months ago. They took my money within seconds. When nie cancelled because they wanted finger prints on a device driven around by a courier company for any type of use so I cancelled. Now they want 3 months bank statements and proof of payment from me before refunding my money.. They did not ask for a bankstatement or proof of bank and they dispatched the product without proof.of payment so they got the proof themselves. Now they want all this before refund. What do they want to do with my 3 months bankstatements. Use it to **** some money off Me? Through a back door. Who is going to pay the R10 a page for 3 months? I have to. You took the money out of the account on the stated contract so refund it to the same account and fast. If you just look at all the bad reviews I think check point or those companies must be notified and obviously the ombudsman. They have no scruples and agents should be ashamed of working for them.

What a disgraceful company. Upgraded my home router to a package that doesn't exist in my area when I changed from a month to month agreement to a one year contract despite confirming the package was exactly the same. Then when I pointed it out they refused to cancel the contract even though I was well within the cooling off period despite their staff member initially telling me it was my right.

A despicable company. You sign up for a new MTN contract, then converts an existing prepaid number also into a contract by using questionable methods to sell a so called special.

This company is dishonest and will **** you. They only mention one small fee to update your mtn plan, which they have full access to, and then when the bill arrives, you see a higher price than what you agree to. An extra R120 that i wasn't made aware of. And then PRENIECE PADAYACHEE states that it was stated in the T&Cs. Then just types out questions, asking if the customer was made aware of the R120 once off fee, and in the next line answering her own questions, saying yes, the customer agreed to it and was aware.

Be mindful when taking up a data contract with MTN through mobilesplus. on the 15th of October we signed up for a data contract and made the neccessary payment to receive the router and sim. when i followed up a week later I was told that they do not have stock. how can you offer something and insist on upfront payment for 2 months when you do not have the stock. and not even tell the prospective customer there will be a delay? we then proceeded to cancel the application. this cancellation had to be approved by MTN. this was eventually done on 1 November. I submitted proof of payment and my bank statement as requested for the refund - which was to take 5-7 working days. today after emailing and phoning since monday we receive an email "as of currently the upfront payment is not reflecting on your MTN account ". with "Please note that the turnaround of the payment allocation by the MTN banking team is 5 business days. " this is totally unacceptable. we have since taken out a contract directly from MTN. we just want the money that we paid for a service that could not be provided due to "no stock". i will also be posting this review on MTN.

NEVER EVER FALL FOR THESE PEOPLES CONSULTANTS AND DO NOT ALTER YOUR MTN CONTRACT AT ALL. THEY PROMISE YOU A COOL OFF PERIOD OF 10 DAYS ON THE PHONE, AND LATER TOLD YOU THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A COOL OFF PERIOD. THEY TELL YOU YOUR MTN CONTRACT DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE AND THEY MUST MIGRATE YOU.......DONT DO IT !!!!!!

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE. RUN RUN RUN! Hideous ********** LIZARDEOUS. When you upgrade via MTN's 135 they farm the process out to these dreadful specimens. You are not aware. MTN does not tell you. Then MobilesPlus ****s up the upgrade process and you have to reverse it. That reversal gets ****ed up and you are left making DOZENS of calls to MTN retentions, then MobilesPlus and back and forward and back and forward....each one blaming the other. MobilesPlus has only a landline available only through a parent company!

I was contacted by mobilesplus saying they were from MTN. I was offered more airtime and a reduced payment on my current contract. They had all the information about my contract down to the amount of airtime I use. When I agreed to the change I received an SMS saying mobiles plus has accepted my order. Confused I went to MTN who said they do not deal with mobiles plus at all and my information had been ****** by them. They said mobiles plus is able to cancel my current contract and charge pro rata amounts to my bank account. How is this even possible. They checked at MTN and mobiles plus had added another SIM card to my contract which is not what was agreed on by me. Watch out for these *****sters. They lie and get you to agree to them debiting your account. This is not MTN. Do not fall for it. If you ever want to do any changes to your contract do it in-store and not over the phone!
