Based on recent customer reviews, Milex South Africa is facing significant dissatisfaction across its small appliance range, including air fryers, blenders, vacuums, kettles, heaters, and robotic cookers. Customers consistently mention products failing shortly after or just outside the warranty period, with rusting, motor failures, and broken plastic components being recurring concerns. A frequent theme is poor after-sales support, including unavailable spare parts, slow refunds, and unhelpful responses. While a few customers praise individual staff members for excellent assistance, the broader perception of product durability and service remains negative.

I purchased a Milex robotic cooker for several thousand rand because it is marketed as a multifunctional machine capable of tasks such as kneading dough. After only two years of normal use, the machine broke when a small plastic gear inside failed while making dough — something the machine is specifically designed to do. When I contacted Milex support, I was told that the required part is not in stock and cannot be supp**** separately. Their only suggestion was that I send the machine in for assessment. However, they cannot provide any lead time, cannot estimate the cost, and cannot even confirm when the replacement part will be available. This means I could be without the machine indefinitely, with no guarantee that it will even be repairable. For a product at this price point, this is completely unacceptable. When a company sells appliances like this, there should be a clear plan for maintenance and spare parts support. Instead, I am left with an expensive machine that is unusable because of a small plastic component, and the manufacturer cannot offer a clear path to repair it. What is also disappointing is the lack of effort to explore practical solutions. If the part is unavailable, alternatives should at least be considered or suggested. Instead, the responsibility and inconvenience are placed entirely on the customer. I rely on this machine daily, and the current response from Milex shows very poor after-sales support. At this stage I will be escalating this matter further, as customers should not be left with an unusable appliance simply because a small internal part fails and the manufacturer has no parts available. I would strongly caution potential buyers to consider after-sales service and parts availability before investing in this product.

Milex South Africa. If you want to waste money on products buy Milex products. Only last in warranty period, paying luxury price for cheap products. And after sales care are rude. Milex wall heater - stoped working. Milex hand vacuum - stoped working - Rechargeable fan - stoped working. And after a quick fix in a warranty time, after warranty time they charge you a repair x amount. They know there products doesnt last, do they have their warranty Screenshot in place. I see many people complaing about same issue (broken products and warranty with rude people) wont even rate Milex a 1 star.

They stole my money. They sold me a juicer, in a month it started jamming, they took it and said they replaced the motor, in about a month they took it again and I said I want my money back because I can't do the back and forth. They kept it for months and months and when I eventually enquired about my money they said the warranty is finished. This juicer spent it's whole warranty period in their possession and even today it's still in their possession. They are *******, they have the product and my money and I want my money back. I have done research and got advise so next week I am going to the SAPS to open a ***** and ****ming case. They rob us of our hard earned money and come with stupid excuses. I think the media would also be interested to entertain this because this is day light *******. They are ****** together with Homemark and I will put the same review for home mark. Run away from these two companies, they are only here to **** an already struggling society in this country.

I bought my second milex nutri1200 in may 2024. One of the BIGGEST downfalls of this product is that the rubber rings inside the head with the blades does not stay in play and gets blended in with your smoothie. I tried to get replacements to fit my model in february 2025 and they sent me the wrong rubber rings. After several emails to e plain why it was wrong, they told me they were out of stock and registered my email for when it comes into stock. It's been a year now and nothing and the last incorrect ring has now been chewed up by the blade. So I'm left with a expensive paper weight or door stop. That is about as useful as this machine is. Ps the previous machine was eventually not able to turn the blades so also an expensive door stop. I guess lesson learned - don't buy milex. They not even really interested in helping me.

What a horrible experience - a bought a carpet cleaner and use the photos provided to ensure it will meet my need. On arrival the product does not have the pipe for cleaning carpets and I am not going to clean a 2mx2m carpet on my knees - arrange for a return. Photos and reason asked. I said misleading advertising. Ok, refund approve - please return product on your cost and a handling fee will be deducted for the return.

Excellent service from the company and most importantly from Leonard Rosen, who assisted me with ease. Thank you Leonard, for your exceptional service and help. Service like this is what all companies should strive to attain. Your assistance is much appreciated.
