The place is great though I felt the bar is not catering for all customers. There is good kiosk for snacks but the bar needs to improve the range of offerings. Great indoors cricket and a bit of soccer for kids and of course the older kids (dads) too. Sports bar to buy drinks restaurant for foods. Great for kiddies parties. Safe lots of parking. Car guards there. There's free WiFi, a well stocked bar and fresh food, and it is also a great place to watch sports matches if your TV is ever down at home, but this is more of a family establishment. You may not want to come if you despise kids.

<div> <div dir="auto">Hi,</div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">I am highly offended by the lack of professionalism and hint of racism that comes from your umpires and even opponents. Are you aware of this?</div> <div dir="auto">There is currently an old white lady umpiring for the hockey and here are the issues:</div> <div dir="auto">1. She kept speaking to us (blacks) in Afrikaans until one match, I told her I only speak in English and it's highly disrespectful and patronising to keep speaking to me in Afrikaans, her response, "I can speak what I want". This is unacceptable.</div> <div dir="auto">2. She never umpires alone and always had to ask for recommendations of what decisions to make. Today her son was TMO. Is that even part of the rules. Surely if she's unable to independently impire perhaps she should go to kiddies league. </div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">On a final note, the white players are highly racist and continue to swear at us in Afrikaans, thinking we do not understand; push and not follow simple rules of no hitting or slapping. </div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">Now that I have laid these formal complaints which are a crime in South Africa, I hope Midrand Action Sport will address these issues or it would be co-accused in this criminal matter, if not, I'm more than happy to escalate this matter not only to SAHA, CPA and any sports controlling body.</div> <div dir="auto"> </div> <div dir="auto">I do not pay a fortune but the fact that I pay for a service, I expect an experience that pleasurable, equal and professional.</div> </div>

<p>6 months ago, I electronically transferred R540 to Midrand Action Sports because we were scheduled to play 2 matches each costing R270 each. My team arrived there and they only played 1 match. For the past 6 months I have been trying to get my refund from their Manager Charl Cowan who has been giving me the run around and refuses to refund me. Our contract with them ended on February and he still refuses to refunded me.</p>
