4 x BF Goodridge Michelin Mud Terrain bande (31/10.5/15) aangekoop Oktober 2010 by Tiger Wheel + Tyre (N1 City). (Kostes vir my sak!) Is hul leeftyd net 5 jaar??

My Michelin tyres have started to perish on the side wall, however the tyres has still 4mm left of the original 7mm. I have raise this with three people at Michelin including the rep, Techical manager and sales manger who have hid behind a 5 year warranty however they tyres are only 7 years old with low mileage and are busy disintegrating. Worst service and brand won’t purchase ever again

In January 2016 I bought 4 Michelin Tyres from Tyremart Empangeni, KZN and I also paid for a guarantee which means that I am able to have my tyres rotated and my wheel alignment done for free at a dealer that has these Michelin tyres or at a Tyremart- the communication from Michelin has been very vague. It is now August and I am trying to have my wheel alignment done in Port Elizabeth at the end of this month. My issue with Michelin is that since having gotten my confirmation sms which says I am registered with the service plan, I still have not been given a reference number to use at a dealer so that I can make use of the services I paid good money for. We have been in communication with the Operational Marketing Manager of Michelin to try and sort this matter out. We contacted him on the 28th of July 2016 to find out about how to make use of my service plan but it is now the 11th of August and they still have not gotten back to us.
We paid a lot of money for four XM2 Tyres and a service plan which includes roadside assistance and free wheel alignment and wheel rotation but depsite having PAID for this service, I am unable to use it.

I was a a petrol station having my tyre pressure checked as I do almost every 3 days during my fuel run. It was brought to my attention by one of the attendants that a bubble had developed on one of my tyres.Note that I have a Michelin primacy 3 205/45/17. I had the spare put on immediately. I contacted Michelin to ask where I could have my tyre replaced as the bubble surely developed on its own. I was told to log a case as my closest dealer. I did so, however the Michelin rep could only attend to my call after 2 weeks, I had called the rep and agreed to meet him where he was so I could speed up the process. I met the rep out of my own will over 25km from my area. Upon inspection the rep insisted, without proper justification, that the bubble had developed because of impact damage. There was zero physical signs of impact not even the slightest scratch to justify that my tyre had come into contact with a foreign object, and I mean zero. When I told him this he says ,there are signs ,very slight, and you can see it if you look carefully. He proceeded to bend the tyre on the spot where the bubble was to show me a line that is less than 0.5mm, and yes I mean 0.5mm. this in no way suggests that there was an impact. He made more scratchs on the tyre using a little *****driver tool of his to try and show me where he could see sign of impact. If there was an impact that is severe enough to cause a bubble, then there would literally be physical damage to the exterior of the tyre ,but there was not. Either Michelin tyres are pathetically weak or you guys are liars ,cheats and thief's. These tyres are costly and your service is pathetic, your reps are biased!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!the only scratchs on my tyre are those made by your rep during the inspection. I once had a bubble on a Dunlop tyre and they clearly admitted to it being a manufacturers defect unlike Michelin who refuse to admit it was a fault on their part. I demand to have my tyre replaced! I will not let this slide and let yet another automotive giant take advantage of a customer!! Please look at the pictures I have attached and tell me if you see a sign of impact, let alone an impact large enough to cause a bubble.

Good day I would just like to share my experience which I had with the Michelin Tyre brand, I own a 2011 Chev Spark wich I have owned now for the past 7 months, I recently had to jave my vehicles tyres replaced when I decided to opt for a set of Michelin tyres as I did not want to settle for an unknown brand as my wife drives the vehicle on a daily basis after about using the tyres for 2 months i was driving home one evening with my wife and i felt a slight vibration from the front of the vehicle, me working in the motor industry myself thought to have wheel alignment and balancing done again and to my surprise the fitment centre pointet out to me that 3 of my tyres had an isue where the tread patern was busy seperating from the walls of the tyre, I was shocked as I thought that Michelin was one of the top brands and I have only used about 35 percent of the tyre tread I wish I never bought these tyres and that I should have waited and did my homework before I decided to go for the Michelin brand but I geuss no I know.

Hi, I have ordered over a month ago from one of your dealers in Boksburg, a set of Michelin Primacy 3, size 235/55/17 yest to this day my dealer cannot tell me when the tyres will arrive. According to my vehicle, a VW Caravelle, these are the only tyres in that size that are appropriate for my vehicle. (Due to the load index of 103). So far to date, even Michelin cannot tell me when these tyres will be available, and I am in desperate need of new tyres as mine are now totally worn out. We all know the case with Motor Vehicle Insurance, if the tyres are in a bad state, the insurance will not warrant any claim regardless if the accident was your fault or not.

Please tell me what to do, as I cannot drive my vehicle in this state, and I do not have another vehicle to use in the meantime.
