Linklayer fibre
Based on recent customer reviews, Linklayer Fibre receives sharply divided feedback. Satisfied customers consistently mention helpful agents like Viv and Erin, praising efficient installations, responsive WhatsApp support, and reliable connectivity in established estates. However, a recurring theme among frustrated customers is poor communication during outages, with complaints about being caught in a blame game between Linklayer and ISPs such as Mweb, Cool Ideas, and Afrihost. Customers frequently express frustration over extended downtime, lack of follow-up, and difficulty reaching direct support when issues arise.

The issue I have with a company running my fibre is not about the time it takes to install it, but when I have an issue I need support, however it seems impossible to get hold of the company and they do not seem to respond properly to Afrihost either, which makes this the only channel for communication and this is extremely poorly. if the guys who needs direct access to a provider can't get adequate support , how am I supposed to get support from them?

I suppose if you have the monopoly in an area, then service and feedback to clients are not high on your agenda. You deliver the service, I pay for it. That is the baseline. If you don't deliver the service, which sometimes happen, the least you can do is keep your customers informed. But that seems to much effort.

Please can you remove Mweb as your ISP. They do not assist customers. We have been trying for 4 days straight to get our link layer connection up and running again and they are giving us the worst run around. They are a bunch of *********** people and it is going to ruin your reputation because they cannot provide a proper service to your customers.

This is the 2nd time for the month that the internet is down! It is 21 hours later and there is still no update yet. It is a huge inconvenience and disruption as we need fibre to work! Mweb is not interested to following up with Link layer! I have to keep following up and the feedback is the same. Link layer service levels are pathetic and the person that responds to whatsapp messages is extremely rude! I am actively cancelling and moving over to a new provider

Horrible Ideas and TCF is minus 1000. They just dont care because they own fww estate in the upper high way of Waterfall via Coolideas hence they blame each other. There's thing guy called Vivian. He does not mind saying im waiting for the other team to come back to me and that's been over a week. Linklayer must be removed period. The installation was booked for the 28th of November but they still dont when are they going to schedule. When Coolideas say, they have escalated, they are done because Linklayer is just sitting enjoying air-conditioning and playing games. Something must be done, afrihost must come back abd remove this lazy people
